No progress for exotic war cult faction class armor
I have completed the exotic faction question for Dead Orbit and New Monarchy without issue (so i understand what is require to complete the quest), however I am having an issue with the Future War Cult exotic quest. I have equipped a combination of the different shaders and emblems, have purchased new class item from vendor but i am unable to make any progress in this quest. I have alliance with the war cult and have their faction badge in my inventory. I have tried both crucible and strikes without any progress, i have tried solo (match make) and in full teams, i have tried completing strikes until after reward screen and crucible win reward screen but still no progress. I have tried uninstalling the whole game and reinstalling and downloading all the updates. Still no luck.
I have tried everything i can think of and the only other person i know who had similar issue reinstalled the game to fix his issue, which i have already done without luck.
Can someone pls help me with this as i wanna finish this quest and move back to my preferred faction.

Fear not, for there is a solution (that worked for me). According to the known issues page there's a problem with the year 3 class items, but it's not specific. I've found the problem only exists in the class items that can be bought. This being said, all you have to do is pull a class item out of a faction level up package and it should work. Hope this helps, like I said, it worked for me (New Monarchy).
