Curious to see where people think Destiny 2 will take place.
My picks are Mercury (Hopefully some Osiris storyline aswell), Europa, Saturn and the Reef
Reply with any other suggestions!
I know there's some areas on Moon/Mars/Venus that only have crucible maps but can't remember all,
(Mars: Eos Chasma, Moon: Mare Cognitum and Venus: Maat Mons)

I guess it depends if the areas they were working on that we know about are the ones that will end up in Destiny 2 or if all of that has been scrapped in favor of something else. We know there was work done on a new explorable area of Mars that would include a Raid, that work was done on Europa, the European Deadzone, Old Chicago (not sure if this one got very far though), and another Vex related content update code named Vex Void, which could possibly be on Mercury. We now know that Destiny 2 will be more than just an expansion but a complete rework of how a bunch of stuff works in the game including towns and outposts in what they are calling "play in" spaces, so it could be all this was junked, but it's the only leads we have on new areas so far.

Its most likely going to Jupiter, Europa, and the other Jovian Bodies. I wish it would expand our areas on Earth. I would love to go to Old Chicago and the European Dead Zone.

What no Uranus jokes?

Tokyo

Old Japan/China

I say what the old petition back in Y1 was for
The Sun!
I'd happily jump into a patrol on any of these, but my top pick would probably be the reef. We have a social space and the prison, but there's really no where to go in the reef which makes a large portion of the asteroid belt. We could get more insight on the queen since they still have confirmed her dead, the scenery would be among some of the best in the game, the awoken could become a new enemy race as this is where they originated from. Not to mention it would be interesting to see how they would give mobility to a desolate wasteland of basically platforms and asteroids.

I would like to finally explore than abandoned city you can see from a distance in the Cosmodrome.
-
I would love to see the rest of the planets in our solar system. This includes Pluto because it's a planet
-
It'd be cool to see more of the place we're actually fighting for. It's kind of hard to feel anything for the City when you've never even been there.
-
Itd been nice to see us actually take back earth and make it a point of actual production so we can have better gear and have a more stable command.
-
More earth would be great.
-
I mean you could have guardians time travel to present day Chicago. Wouldn't look much different than the plaguelands lol
-
If I can't ride a dinosaur in destiny 2, it's a pass
-
Mercury would mean more Vex, which would be fun. It may also be more of Osiris. More of earth would probably mean more fallen (perhaps the house of kings?). Europa would probably be along the storyline of the nine. Saturn and Jupiter are gas giants and as such, we won't land on them. Their moons had colonies, not them. The Reef really is only known for the awoken in current lore. Personally I'd like to add Mars to the poll. I'd be very interested in what Clovis Bray has done.
-
How sick would it be to explore the reef? Close quarters combat in PvE for once, should be low gravity considering it's the asteroid belt, and jumping puzzles for days
-
Uranus.....
-
Bungie litteraly said Saturn was going to be the one of the main parts of Destiny 2.
-
Secondary rumors say in the eye of the hurricane on Jupiter
-
Why not all
-
Rumors say Saturn
-
Where is above all option?
-
More planets and space stations. There are enough other games if you want to play on earth
-
I prefer we have the earth one and Europa What will be even better if this time LIGHT actually matters not going to a earth and doing a lvl 5 mission and still can't one shot enemies but that's my opinion I just hope their is a story, 4 player co-op and balanced crucible and I'm sold

Fictional original world's made by Bungie
