Exotic Class Items?
So if you have been wondering, the only actual way to get the exotic class items (level 25 faction) is by having a year 1/2 cloak/mark/bond and shader and emblem. So if you are a year 3 player or a new player you will NOT be able to get it. I feel this is a problem Bungie should address so all the new players can experience the same feeling all the year 1/2 features all us vets got to experience.

Rank faction up and select chroma package. A spectar class item will work. Until they update to allow y3 items to work, this is the only way. It's bugged, but not impossible.

I heard somewhere that if you open a chroma package from the faction and you get a class item that, that will work. Havent tried it though

It's because year 3 faction class items are bugged and don't count towards the quest. Bungie is fixing this.

Maybe they should've bought it earlier. Anyhow, I was still able to get the exotic class item. Yr3 shader, emblem, and faction class item.
