Guaranteed Days of Iron ornament for Iron Banner rank 5?
Rank 22 in the record book and a rather slim chance in radiant treasures is a little much for the Days of Iron ornaments. For a full set on one character, you need (correct me if I'm wrong) six ornaments and twenty silver dust. That's eighteen ornaments and sixty silver dust for all three characters.
I usually can't stand the sweaty grind fest that is Iron Banner, but I would definitely go through with it, regardless of what is being sold, if I can get a guaranteed ornament.
Would anyone else like this?

-Thanks for the correction, forgot about the class item. So that's seven ornaments and twenty five silver dust per character, or twenty one ornaments and 75 silver dust for all three.

2 RepliesI bought 50 bucks worth of silver, cuz idiot, and spent it all on treasures, little on a couple faction boosters. Had... 25, I think? So 25 weeks worth of treasures. I got 6 DoI ornaments. 6 ornaments, in what would be essentially around 10 months of 1-a-week free treasures. Basically, there is a heavy chance people wont be able to get those ornaments before Destiny 2 for ONE character. And that's -blam!-ed up. Should at least give us one free one a week per character.

Yeah, expect ever-greater incursion of MTX, bud. At least ornaments are still cosmetic, unlike cash for rep boosters. I'm still expecting BungieVision to cross the line into weapons, but that'll depend on how many people they manipulate into paying cash for the ornaments they so heavily promoted without revealing how impossible in-game acquisition would be. I was over it 5 minutes after seeing 25 dust for one, I expect no more from them at this point.

6 RepliesI have a suspicion that, just like the Days of Iron armor boxes from the achievement book, once you hit rank 22 you can grab as many ornaments as you want. I could be wrong, but that's my theory.

Just buy Radiant Treasures... I bought 10 and my legs and gauntlets and chest all have the ornaments.
