Other countries dont have it "free" nothing is "free" Its how you choose to spend your tax dollars. Instead of diverting our taxdollars to infrastructure and affordable college.... Lets exapnd the military like trump wants to :D they can never have enough of our tax dollars. We wouldnt want our men not to be able to afford that overpriced $100 hammer now would we?
-
Then it's not free. That's Socialism and the taxpayers are paying your salary and your education.
-
Wasn't the GI Bill funding one of the things cut when the Republicans shut down the government?
-
Isn't it free in Germany?
-
You guys do know that you can apply for college funding right?
-
College is also free if you don't pay your bill #lifehacks
-
Well, is a putting your life on the line or PTSD worth college?
-
If not military I have a radical solution. Grow up and act like an adult. Taking a loan means paying it back.
-
Imma try and get into afrotc with a scholarship
-
Edited by Gandhi 2: 9/30/2016 4:00:21 PMI got free college, too! I love Blackmail.
-
I wouldn't call that "free" by any means.
-
College is free in Germany...
-
Back in the 50-60's daddy would work 40 hour a week at a factory, while momma would stay at home and take care of the kids. Owned a nice house, and a cottage. Make America great again.
-
Actually if you do dual enrollment (college and high school at the same time) at most colleges it is free, you have to pay for books tho
-
We get paid to go to the swedish equivalent of college over here.
-
Fun fact: more people go to college than serve in the military.

I'm currently an Animal Science major, with a pre vet concentration. I know there is a military scholarship that will pay for your medical/dental/veterinary school for you, ending with a 3 year service commitment, plus one year of on the job training, in the branch of your choice. They also pay for other supplies and give a stipend. You get commissioned into the reserves, and following your graduation, you get promoted to a captain, at least for the army. I can't imagine too many people get it. The Army vet corps also has up to $120,000 loan repayment for active duty personnel.

Nah, studying overseas is way cooler.
-
You can't argue with that
-
Im for a free 2 year education to a community college or a trade school. If you maintain a B or greater average, then some scholarships or more could be provided.
-
its free here in sweden then again, there is a massive gap between good colleges and okay ones, above average students, which are pretty much half of all students, get -blam!-ed real hard.
-
You're right! I go to college for free because of financial aid which covers all my years! And it is the kind I don't need to pay back.
-
Or you can do a Donald Trump. Go through college completely and then not pay because you weren't satisfied with the education.
-
Or try in high school

Or move to Europe where college is about 5000 euros in total for 4 years. Or be a smart student n pay just about 200 euros in total.
