Skill based match making destroying Destiny!
I know it's not just me but I "was" a top 1% in Destiny. Crucible has become un-enjoyable over the last year. I'm so sick of the lag, and the foreign match up I have to pullout a shotgun just to get a kill I can't even enjoy the other weapons. I feel that Bungie should implement an entirely new system which I know will not be seen in Destiny 1 but for the sake of what's left I believe it should be removed and just focused on connection based. I cannot state all my concerns here but this is just one of few.

Yeah, sbmm sucks. But as soon as it's taken out all the bk's will get thrashed and quit. Resulting in only sweaty players remaining anyway. It's -blam!-ed both ways lol

4 Replieshalf the people commenting aren't even talking about the subject... please children : pay attention {Skill based match making destroying Destiny} and i agree.. im from year 1 and i dont remember the last time i got a lag free pvp game.. and my internet is rated one highest in the country.. i live in the middle of boston if your wondering. a few miles from harvard.. ghost shots and teleporting people is the norm in today's destiny and from my point of view almost unplayable unless you don't mind getting aggravated.. i have no issues like this with any of my other online pvp games.. but lets be serious these people don't care, you already gave them your money..

2 RepliesTrials is the worst. Group with people that has gone flawless 110 times. I went about 14 times. Is that skilled matchmaking? Haven't gone flawless for along time. Sad face.

I'd rather wait another minute in orbit for local players to join than waste 10 minutes of my life on mediocre gameplay with redbars. I also did not notice the players SBMM algorithm finds for me have any decent skills. They do not know how to play control, or even clash. They die a lot. They bump at you. They lag. SBMM just does not work as intended. Make it optional, please.

4 RepliesJust looked up your destiny tracker score. And in the only categories that matter as far as skill is concerned. You are not even close to 1 percent. Your dtr is an overall score, and most of your score comes from the number of kills, grimoire, and time played. None of that matters in the skill category. So no, you are not a top 1 percenter.

It needs to be removed. All it does is make lag that makes shoots not register and kill the game.

Trials is -blam!-ing bullshit as -blam!-. Go 7 games in the row with no loss and really good connection with all every team so far. Then all of a sudden on the 8th and 9th game you get a -blam!-ing red bar and yellow bar. Like wtf bungie, these -blam!-ing idiots shouldn't be allowed to be matched agaisnt us in trials. This shit is just -blam!-ing bullshit as -blam!-. Looks like nothing has -blam!-ing changed since year 2. Didnt even want to -blam!-ing play anymore after being matched against a red bar. -blam!- that bullshit.

I wouldn't think you'd be consistently getting in the top lobbies with the numbers you have,1% players are insanely good, guys like Rappo000, obey_de_law and titademic. I'm average at best and have on very rare occasions been match made against these guys, ending with me getting splattered and it wasn't lag. I'm sure you have your moments but you'd be doing well to hang with the likes of these guys. You can't blame lag all the time.
