What exactly is the drop rate for the Thorn quest? It surely can't be that bad, as there have been multiple reports of people getting it almost straight away (first or second bounty). I've gone through all 3 characters, turned in 12 weekly bounties total over the past 24 hours, got no quest. I have the bugged Tower quest marker that is reported to be related to owning the Thorn in year 1, I honestly wonder if that had something to do with me not getting the quest. If it were up to me, there would be more than just 4 weekly quest, and the more the player turned in without getting the quest, the more likely they would be to get it next time. Regardless, it's really annoyed me that I won't be able to get Thorn in the first week. I imagine all the posts saying "Like this if you got thorn on day one", full of people thinking they're special in some way because they lucked out. I'll be honest, I worked my ass off doing all those bounties. Do you have any idea how annoying it is to find someone with shank and captain offerings? Some people don't even know you can actually check what enemy your offering summons. Half of the LFG posts say "I have offering" with no specification as to what kind of offering they have or what enemy they summon. You have to spend hours on a single bounty, finding allies (which takes forever), finding the SIVA offering for the right enemy (takes forever), and finally actually attempting the task set in the bounty (ridiculously easy). I'm not angry, I'm too tired to be angry. This was the first time I've ever had a full vault and postmaster, and I just spent ages sifting through everything, zipping back and forth between the previous two locations and the cryptarch. It's past midnight, I need a drink, a bite to eat, and some sleep. Goodnight everybody.
