Auto Rifle Balance
As I did with my pulse rifle post, I'll be giving my view on the state of auto rifles.
High RoF- Perfect place.
Mid RoF- decent place.
Low RoF- Awful place.
Change nothing about High RoF. The mid RoF autos need to excel at mid range. Buff the base range by an extra 15%, and give them better recoil direction. Buff damage by 3%. The low RoF autos suck. They have no purpose. They should be high risk/high reward. Buff the recoil direction to mimic counterbalance on all low RoF autos. Buff mag size to minimum 28, maximum 36. Buff range by 15% Give them an 18% damage buff, but a 2% RoF nerf, and a 7% stability nerf. This should alleviate some issues with the class.

High RoF autos needs a bigger ammo capacity nothig extreme but at least 35 bullets in each load.

They did this as part of the nerf-into-the-ground auto nerf as a reaction to SUROS. They need to undo this. Any weapon where you reload 10x more than you kill needs some work.

5 RepliesHigh rate of fire seem like they are really difficult to control and often aren't as rewarding. Mid tier are doing better, the hard light could be one of the best exotics out there without the screen shake Low, just plain awful, even worse with focus fire

Yeah, any pulse will smash a high rof. I don't want the doctrine days back, but I'd like a small buff. I think mediums and low need a damage buff. Or a buff to damage falloff.

Counterbalance nerf range nerf and dmg nerf.. oh and i forgot mag nerf for no reason.. i need to use at least more than half of my mag if i want to kill somebody(using braced frame) Mida can kill guardian with 4 headshots.. u can get like 5 kills with mida's one mag.. and you can barely kill 2 guardian with doctrine if u land your shots.. and i know 2 completely different weapon types but still

6 RepliesNo give me back my magazine size for Arminius-d. High RoF are not in a great place. It's already a ln uphill battle against pulses and handcannons. You can't compartmentalize. Stop thinking of how they should be and think about how OTHERS shouldn't be and ADD that to the subject, this being autos. In advance you're welcome.
