Setting : Burning Shrine Plot : Two Guardians have a prior quarrel from a previous mission and aim to settle the matter. The Titan arrives in his ship and the Hunter awakens to this. (From here I will have the Titan as T and Hunter as H). T walks through the center point and a hand cannon shot whizzes past his head. He catapults forward as his shield takes damage. Damning her poor accuracy, H makes chase but T has already recovered and guns down her own shields as she springs into his sights. H blinks past him and he misses an opportunity to finish his opponent. H goes invisible and sneaks from cover to cover. T has his AR and treads carefully. Hes gone against blade dancers in the crucible before and doesnt underestimate their quick blades and propensities to stab one in the back. Hes takes one last step and hears the faintest breath amongst the hum of the vex machinery... He turns quickly and catches her arm mid swing. She swings and lands her punch throwing him for a daze. He catapults backwards while firing his weapom blindly. He hears H goes invisible again out of sight and off his radar. H is having a hard time getting past T's defenses. Hes dealt with hunters and she has to be more unpredictable... She finds all other options unavailable. She uses her light and summons her arc blade and makes charge. T sees the blue blur and brings forth his mighty hammer. He tosses his hammer but she was too quick! They run at eachother and quickly metal meets metal. Exchanging with eachother in a brilliant spectacle of arc and solar light. Their energy radiating onto the planet as they expend all their energy trying to give one another the killing blow. H finds a chink in his defenses and cuts his side but he grabs her arm and tosses her asunder throwing his hammer and hitting her Their light drains and they lift their weapons... They both hear a familiar noise. Vex have been surrounding them this entire time... A Hydra appears and hob goblins outnumber the guardians 50 - 1.
