Have never had problem until two weeks ago. Have 3 Xbox Ones on network two turned off completely and playing in fireteam with people all outside my home network. Netgear CW600 cable modem, separate Netgear R7000 Nighthawk. UPNP enabled. Having ALL KINDS of issues, all new.
1) keep getting booted from fireteam. :
1a) when people join party I get kicked to orbit no error code.
1b) when people leave party I get kicked to orbit no error code.
1c) when some messages me I get kicked fro fire team
1d) when I message someone I get kicked from fire team.
Have restarted modem and router and all devices as naseum.
Have replaced router AND cable modem already once to avail.
Had cable company come out and do line check to clean up line signal quality, issue persists.
Any help here?

I had ALL the same issues you have. The only thing I could think to do was turn my notifications off on my Xbox. Haven't had a problem since. Beyond weird I know, but it worked for me.

I haven't had all the issue you have experienced but I have had problems getting booted out of the fireteam and also problems when my son, using a PS4 on the same LAN, tries to join my fireteam. I cleaned up all my issues with some router changes which I've outlined in this post. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/213912090?sort=0&page=0 Hopefully this helps you. I think the application was changed a few months back to require more forwarded ports with uPnP. My router was set to clean up those ports very quickly. I changed the cleanup routine so that my entries for forwarded ports stay open for several hours.

If you're behind a modem and a router (two different pieces of equipment), make sure and put the modem on DMZ mode. If you're only behind a modem with a built in router (one box), then no clue; it seems lots of people are having this issue.

Edited by minicouthk1w1: 9/27/2016 7:43:14 AMHaving the same issues. Sent to orbit wjen some either joins or leaves the party .. even using the xbox dashboard boots me to orbit .. Been trying to work out what the issue is. I have tried the same as you .. changed modem .. changed router .. removed forwarding .. gone to strict nat .. even changed xbox .. put a monitor on my firewall and cant seem to isolate the issue .. let me know if you find anything .. in some ways im glad im not the only one .. now i know not going crazy. Just noticed you mentioned having a nighthawk 7000 .. i jave the same but my xbox is ot connected through it .. might try shutting it down to eliminate it. Do you have any firewalls running?

Bungie is fully aware of this problem where players are unable to join each other if on the same network. Sorry for the inconvenience. I recommend to occasionally check this Bungie thread for any future updates: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/210716770?sort=0&page=0

Never heard this issue before, and it's very strange. Sounds like something more than just Destiny's P2P servers that can cause this, since it is completely shutting down your system. No error codes or anything??!!
