I've been playing Destiny for what seems like eons. I like the game, but lately, I've been slowly ripping my hair out in frustration at what this game has become. I'll get to everything little thing I can currently think of that needs to be reviewed. Hopefully, someone can step up and get some more work put in this game. Rise of Iron. Come one, come all, spend 30.00 for all the stuff you had in year one! The majority of this DLC (Though not the worst) is nothing but re-skinning of old gear. You have Gjallarhorn, Thorn, Matatdor 64, Khvostov, Septiks, Phogoth, Cosmodrome, the list goes on and on. There's even an entire mission completely dedicated to Year One. There is too much attention put on old content. I believe the only new exotics and content in the game is Supremacy, Wretched Eye, Nemesis Star, Tresspasser and Felwinter Peak. I'm sure "a lot" of work went into the DLC entirely with making an extension to the Cosmodrone, adding red veins everywhere, but I could only handle so much throwback. Some time that went into re-skinning things could have went to newer content. Crucible: Supers Ever feel happiness? Ever feel loved? Want to go somewhere's where none of that is allowed? Go to Crucible. Alright, before someone gets triggered about me asking for "nerfs" understand this is MY Opinion. First off, I'm not a fan of supers at all. What makes me more angry than anything about supers isn't getting decimated across the map by a flying hammer, a laser beam shot by a pistol, a purple void of sorrow or anything else. It's a little thing called, perks. If the super you choose to use, doesn't have "increased armor when using" anywhere in that perk tree, you should die the same as I do. I'm not a fan, of putting everything I can into you, getting killed, and watching with tears in my eyes as you take all my damage, laugh it off and continue on your non-stop onslaught into my team's dreams. If a shotgun melee cannot stop you, not even Zeus with all his might can. Last I checked, the only Perk that should allow you to become a literal Hulk is Unstoppable in the Striker Titan Class. Which means, anything else should be as small and as puny as myself. Crucible: Crucible We live in a dark age now my friends, the one hope we had went out the window in the last patch. I run both shotguns and snipers, depending on the map, and I can see nothing but bleakness ever since my snip-snipe was punished unjustly. I believe in equality, I am not a supporter of snip-snipes being pushed down and bullied while the Shotguns are left completely untouched. Either a balance to shotguns' range or damage will make things go back normal. I believe shotguns will do just fine without insta-killing someone eight yards out. Archon's Forge This is the offspring of Prison of Elders, and Court of Oryx with none of the benefits from either. When you ran Prison, you had promise of gear, consumables, happiness. When you chose to run Court of Oryx, you had the promise of unnecessary amounts of engrams, there was weapons parts and armor materials as far as the eye could see! But, with their child... You get nothing. The rewards are all based off of RNG. With how difficult it is to find an offering, even a low level one, you'd think you'd be rewarded for your effort? No. The Forge spits in your face and rewards you with wasted time and crippling depression. The chances of getting a drop from even the highest of offering is almost as low as surviving a nova bomb in close quarters. My suggestion is to either increase the possibility of offerings dropping, or increase the chances of rewards. I'll be fine with either. These are the few things off the top of my head, that I would like to be reviewed. Again, for anyone out there who might happen to see this and not agree with me. This is my opinion based off of my "sad" experience with Destiny.
