Legacy collection upgrade
I've been searching through the web but not much is told about legacy progress after sept 20
If I'd play on a legacy console for a few more months after this date and let's say make progress as in obtaining few more exotics and what not before I upgrade. Can this progress after RoI release still be transferred to the next gen console?
As it stands now, I just have the general idea that after splitting the same family consoles, the last saved progress on a legacy console at that time is the only thing being transferred and would make playing (collecting) any further futile unless it's just for fun.
Any ideas on this? Thanks!

Hi, Your progress will still move with you so long as you have not performed the account import yet. This happens the first time you log your profile into a current generation console. Once you complete the account import, your legacy and current generation consoles progress becomes separate and any progress you had on a legacy console is ported forward to the current generation console
