Transfer ownership of fame to another account
XBox customer service advised me that Bungie is the only one that can fix my issue. I bought my youngest son the Destiny The Taken King game for his birthday last year. My oldest son's profile/ account was open on the Xbox so my youngest accidently downloaded the game onto my oldest son's account. So my youngest has been sharing the game for the past year. Now we preordered the Destiny Rise of Iron from GameStop(which was probably my 2nd mistake) and they gave us a code to redeem to put $34 credit on our account to purchase the game. I thought that we would pick up the game when it came in. Well anyways my youngest redeemed his code to purchase the Destiny Rise of Iron onto his account not knowing that he would not be allowed to purchase the Rise of Iron because the Ownership of the Taken King is on my oldest son's account. Talked to Microsoft XBox customer service and they said I had to contact Bungie to have Bungie release or transfer the Destiny The Taken King from my oldest son's account to my youngest son's account so that he can purchase the Rise of Iron. Can someone help me with this?

2 RepliesUnfortunately, Bungie can't help you. Bungie cannot transfer content licenses or funds between 2 different platform accounts. If both of your son's wish to play Rise of Iron, you're going to have to make sure both accounts own The Taken King, as well as Rise of Iron. It's also worth noting that gamesharing is a console feature that Bungie does not directly support.
