If Destiny Released Three Years Ago As It Is Now, It Would've Been The Greatest FPS Of Our Century.
I think it would've set a gaming standard.

It should have been like how Wow does it. A new WoW xpac starts with the main part if the new story. Then a few weeks maybe a month later the first raid comes out. Then a few more weeks another raid. Then the last raid for the xpac will come out a few more months down the road. Then they usually do a few small special events through the next year or so and then onto the next xpac. You get 2 years worth of content released over a few months then you just play the game until the new shit comes out. You get tons of gear to collect plus the PvP side has its own thing going on. All for one price plus sub for them but you can buy subs with gold now in game so thars not a problem.

1 ReplyI'm just happy I can finally recommend the game to my friends and say it's definitely worth the $60. Wish I could've said that two years ago, though.

The red bar effecting everyone is getting old. I played 3v3 and it was salvage. After they grabbed it they all went red. See in rift, but was only one guy doing it not the room. I work for large businesses so I get cost and all that but it really degrades the game when you continue to allow this to happen.

Four raids, all dese strikes, so many loots, better pvp, trials, iron banner updated to have awesome gear.... Yeah, probably.

it would of been good but not the greatest... would have had me in line to buy destiny 2 but all the fisting i got this is as far as i got for a destiny game ROI is the last dlc for destiny so ya they got what they could out of me and thats probably all they needed

4 RepliesLol, no. Terrible story, mediocre balance, unbelievable repetition. As it stands now, 7/10. Just plain mediocre. Any time you proclaim or try to proclaim a game as "the best game of the century" when you are only 16/100 years into the century, you're already messing up. Even if it's an amazing game, which Destiny is not.

Which century is our century? I still feel like the 20th century is more my century. Back then we had FPS games where water wasn't lethal. This century has a long way to go. That said, they've really shown what Destiny could have been with another two years of development. Especially once all the internal turmoil was sorted out. They have also shown just how bad last gen was holding back the game. I do kind of wish they'd given us some filler rather than RoI. I mean the environments and plot behind the Iron Lords could have filled most of a full game, yet we got a little 5 mission blurb and a whole new patrol area that is arguably as good as the dreadnought. What really got me was the area at the end of the campaign. It's huge and had room to do so much more in there... Yet it's mostly just a giant set piece. Maybe someday we'll learn more about Durandal... I mean Rasputin.
