Astrocyte verse and transversive steps need major buffs

You give hunters and titans amazing boots but we get increased CROUCHING speed and a CHANCE to reload our weapon on ammo pick up. The helmet reduces recovery time by a fraction of a second. Both are utterly useless especially in PVP, yet more useless warlock exotics. Were you people even thinking when you made these, pissing off so many players. I want to see these buffed soon and not have to wait months for them to be worth using. P.S they do look cool as heck though.

      • transversive steps have a 100% chance to reload your weapon on ammo pick up. which is great for slow reloading weapons.

      • Astrocyte needs to be instantly regenerate on blink or rather just decrease the cool down of blink. Transversive just needs to not exist. I don't understand how the community is better at making exotics than bungie.

        • U move a second faster while crouching at any agility with Transversive which is very dumb. They do however give u a 100% chance of auto reload upon picking up ammo which is nice if u use shotgun for instance. The helmet is stupid as hell and needs the perk it was supposed to get.

          Astrocyte originally increased distance and cooldown of blink. Imagine how op they found it and decided a quick fix was to make it useless.

          • O. The dunemarchers are an exotic titan leg armor exclusive to rise of iron the exotic perk allows for faster movement and tighter turn radius. 1. In pvp the dunemarchers arent noticeable. The walk speed of titans is increased but only to the level of a hunter not to what i would say an exotic level. The tighter turn just increases sesitivity. When first playing with them expect your shots to miss, it screws with your usual game play. It needs some time to get used to but when done so all you get is better base agility. Good for trials sniper peaking and quick strafes when paired with mida , but nothing game changing. Not fast enough to escape death or quick enough to run in for a shoulder or shotgun. 2 pve. The dunemarchers will find there usefullness in the raid with the on the move parts if the raid. This will come in handy with titans lowest base agility. Mixing this with the artifact to prevent run cool down and titan skating will give u some cushion room in the raid, But other than that,... completely useless. 3 how to fix. The hunter and warlock version both have an extra part to the perk making it more than a speed boost. I would say give the dunemarchers the perk to increase duration of juggernaut or the shield size preferably adding a back shield or being able to shield push people like the cabal . This would bring light to a unused perk in the striker subclass as well completely changing pvp with a added ability to swat push with your riot shield up front

            • Don't know if you've used the Transversive Steps but they 100% reload you weapons on an ammo pickup which is pretty good in itself. The crouching movement speed increase is noticeable + you can pick with more Special or Heavy ammo. All in all its a pretty solid exotic. Haven't tried the other one

                    Ophidian aspect basically gives you bladedancer quickdraw+sleight of hand pro with improved energy drain which I never knew what that meant on anything that said that...

                      Transversive Steps New Perk(s): New Angles: Increased Blink distance -or- Old Angles: Extended duration of Lift Astrocyte Verse New Perk Second Wind: Blink automatically begins regenerating health and all weapon are immediately reloaded

                        • Glad someone made a post about this. It seems originally the helmet was for increased blink distance and cooldown. That was a good idea. Also it doesn't work with Ionic Blink... so limited to Voidwalkers. Now it's just bring your recovery stat up to normal levels since blink reduces it... Looks cool that's about it... Also if it was guaranteed reload on ammo pick up that would be enough to make it worth it.

                            • What -blam!- happened to the astrocyte verse ? Move to survive? Where is teleportation? The new perk is such a let down and disappointment that even if they buffed it don't will not ever want it I want the original one that decreased blink cool down and increased distance Bungie change it back

                            • Agreed! I do not see a difference whatsoever in the cool down rate with Astrocyte on. Kinda sucks. I was really looking forward to this exotic.

                              • Astro Verse would be sweet as hell if it did something like bind Blink to "O" or "B". Not sure what to do with the Transversive Steps though. Grants Blink-Slide? A sliding Blink? Makes you slide longer and faster and if your stormcaller deal arc damage to enemies you pass? A lot of the "New" extocis feel like they should just standard armor perks (if seperated into individual effects). Tighter turning angles? faster Crouch? Faster Sprint? These don't seem like exotic abilities to me. And has anyone even got the steps though? Me and a friend are convinced Boot engrams are broken. Between the two of us.. 'bout 30 exotic engrams and around 22-24 Bones of Eaos between us.
