So after just a cursory glance at the forum I can already tell this isn't just me. I pre-ordered ROI like many of you. Today I went and picked up my codes for the Sparrow, the new launcher, and the game itself (which is of course merely a 34 dollar credit, not the actual game download--very tricky, guys). Downloaded the preorder content first, and then even went into the game before I redeemed my "game" code to pick up the stuff from the Postmaster. Got it all, no problem, but I obviously can't equip it until I have the DLC downloaded.
So now it's time. I go back to orbit, navigate to the little yellow diamond, and move down to "Purchase".

What the hell, guys? Why did you bother pumping up this release as much as you did if you weren't going to just... release it? Is Activision pulling some marketing strings we can't see? Is this another huge middle finger to the Xbox players? Seriously, what is going on? The lack of a response to this obviously very widespread problem is deeply concerning. As a consumer, as a fan, and as a gamer, I am deeply offended and fairly upset. I was really eager to dive into this new content and explore what you've built. Now I'm not sure that I even want to give you my money anymore.
Please, Bungie, Deej, Cosmo, someone, ANYONE tell us in clear terms what the hell is going on. You owe it to us to be transparent about problems like this. You owe anyone who spends money on you that much at the very least, let alone delivering what they bought in the first place.
