Hello! My name is Sol Invictus, and I'd like to welcome you all to a sort of community-based thread where we can all share our opinions on the Crucible. As you all know, big changes will be coming with Rise of Iron. Be it a plethora of weapon changes, Ability and Subclass adjustments or general game mechanic tuning for us all. The focus of this particular thread will be mostly centered around Destiny's current PvP state, along with talks about how things can be changed and the future of Destiny competitive life. I'm going to ask a couple of questions that I believe would be hot topics for us all, as these have influenced you in some way or another during your time in the Crucible. Be forewarned, some of these questions will be focused on the current meta and how things have and can be changed, so expect some passionate people down below. ---------------------- Question 1: Do you all believe that Destiny at the moment would be a suitable game for competitive/MLG-based tournaments, or should specific elements of the game be changed to better refine the PvP experience beforehand? If so, please tell me your thoughts on this and why you believe so. If the latter is chosen, explain why you believe that the PvP experience should be refined or changed, and what you would do to make the Crucible and competitive scene promote more fair and honest play. ---------------------- Question 2: This is mainly geared towards how Subclasses currently operate along with their Abilities. Do you believe that specific elements of Subclasses should be left the way they are, or should the fundamental elements within each Subclass be changed to better promote skill-based play, rather than "cheese" tactics? If you've chosen the former, please explain why you believe things should stay the way they are. If you've chosen the latter, do tell the community what do you believe should be implemented, changed, refined or removed entirely from Destiny. I appreciate the time and effort of each of you to voice your opinions on what can be changed or refined to make the Destiny PvP a more enriching experience for both casual and professional players alike.
