They need a real buff no .004 buff that does nothing
-
All the game's primary weapons kill too slowly, and need to be buffed.
-
Nerf fusion rifles
-
The low RoF ones absolutely need a buff. The mid and high RoF's are pretty good where they're at now.
-
the heavy hitting archetypes need a buff. HC's, slow auto's, two burst pulses. Scouts are in a good place though.
-
Khovostov is destroying rn with the high rof stability build
-
Used kovostov in crucible earlier did better than with hawksaw... autos are fine

Edited by Iron Akatsuki: 9/20/2016 7:51:44 PMI think auto rifles need a buff. I loved Doctrine before it got nerfed. The problem like others have stated is that auto rifles require a more upfront play style and don't allow you to back in and out of cover like a hand cannon or scout. And they don't have the range of pulse rifles. That makes auto rifles very vulnerable unless you flinch the opponent. It makes autos decent for newish players to use and potentially strong against people who have poor aim or who don't use cover. But a good auto rifle player against a good hand cannon or pulse rifle player will most likely lose now. When Doctrine had more damage, it was just capable of making up for the weaknesses of the auto rifle class by pumping out such fast dps. Like I said, now I don't think Doctrine or many autos really work well against strong opponents. But they are still usable in casual games and chaotic 6 v 6 game types. Edit: I do want to note that Fabian Strategy is a lot better now. I don't know if I would call it top tier, but it is actually effective now at a variety of ranges. Maybe my favorite auto at the moment.

Because of how things worked out, Hard Light is actually worse than it was in year 1, crucible damage wise
-
Here's how I see it: if low impact autos have half the rate of fire of high rate of fire autos (450 rpm vs. 900 rpm), they should do twice the damage per shot. This clearly isn't the case. Right now, high rate of fire autos (within optimal range) deal 11 damage per shot to the body, and 15 to the head. If low rate of fire autos are to be as good as this, they need to deal 22 per shot to the body and 30 precision damage. This wouldn't be game breaking, but it'd give people more of an incentive to use these low rate of fire autos.
-
I say yes but not the monte carlo class, they shred cheese every wensday
-
Bungie needs to stop screwing around and lower the TTK! No more tiny improvements to damage falloff, NO MORE NERFS to high ROF auto rifles because they are "too" popular... just buff the other types!
-
Not really, they are fine where they are. What y'all need to do is learn to move and avoid shots. I don't agree with the most recent nerf but I think they should avoid buffing then too much before we go back to the "Dark ages" where high impact autos where kings in the crucible and Suros Regime was their God.
-
They seem pretty fine to me atm I use hatchet and still get a good streak in
-
Pvp buff yes and small pve buff
-
They should double the damage and increase the fire rate on my Arminius D as well as give it explosive rounds. Yeah, that sounds about right to me.
-
Just a little.
-
Low rof yes. Others no.
-
No they need to nerf hc and Scouts and stop buffing them.
-
Using Auto rifles is all about flinch, as you can not go in and out of cover like with hand cannons. So you have to stay in their face and hope that the flinch saves you from the opponent's response. Played around with my Monte Carlo yesterday and have to say in its current state it is fine. Trick is to run it with high caliber rounds, know your range and get-into-their-face-fast-to-start-the-flinch.
-
Well, cake obviously. And I think AR's are OK as they are. They just play more to less experienced Guardians, who can't get every shot in the other Guardian's cabeza yet. AR's TTK with body shots is much faster than any other weapon.
-
They need to buff primaries in general.
-
Edited by Dark Raven 2501: 9/20/2016 2:21:54 AMI a agree they do need a buff specially when it comes to impact & range.
-
They don't need to buff anything
-
I been going in insane heaters with suros regime and knucklehead radar its always 5-10 kill streaks that is a such lethal combo. Have my super in just over a min in Clash and Rift everytime.
-
No, pretty soon every other gun will be worse than them so just be patient.
-
High impacts need a buff. The others are fine.
