Trust me, there are days that I would absolutely love to blow off steam by kicking a few Dead Orbit guardians over the railing, but I always remember why we tolerate each other in the first place. I remember how the original faction wars almost tore the City apart, and how the most recent instance not only put everyone in the Tower in danger, but made us weaker as a whole... whether it was the Guardians who left the City seeking what remains of the Concordant, or the Guardians of New Monarchy who were lost while fighting to keep the Vanguard safe. We may not like each other, and we may not support the same causes, but we have all agreed that we will never fight each other in open combat again. To preserve the peace and keep the City together.
