The current state of weapons is something that I have put a lot of thought into and would like to make my point of view known to Bungie because I feel that my POV is one that is shared by many guardians of my caliber. The state of exotic and legendary weapons seems backwards because I feel that in Year 1 exotic weapons felt just that, exotic. Also in Year 1, exotics were looked to as the ultimate end goal and the main goal of most players was to have all of them, especially the upper tier ones. Year 2 is like a whole different game for me personally mainly because in Year 2 I don't really care as much about exotics because all the legendary weapons are more rare and a lot of them are more powerful. I can honestly say I have had more excitement from one of my Eyasluna drops than any exotic drop in all of Year 2. I play a lot of crucible and I have only gotten 2 Eyasluna drops and for both of them I screamed like a little girl. The main issue of Year 2 is not only the rarity of the drops of both legendary and exotic weapons but the strength of them. Hopefully in Year 3 we have the ability to obtain new exotics that are of higher strength because I would like to see some yellow when I look in my menu as opposed to the current full purple that I saw in Year 2.
