THE DOJO

The Dojo. Located on the diverse planet of Tatakai, the Dojo consists of the largest gathering of fighters the universe has ever seen. Men and women from all different cultures, races and worlds come to train, compete and fight together. Many battles have been raged on its soil, but it remains standing. Here, one can write, fight and talk with other writers who seek to create stories with one another. All you have to do is start typing. The New Dojo(JOIN HERE!)
Join our group! Free of charge! I swear! https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Forum/1677784/0/3/0 USE THIS LINK IF THAT OTHER ONE DOES NOT WORK. https://www.bungie.net/en/Groups/Chat?groupId=1677784 Once you pass your test and have joined the group sign here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/215168136/0/0 NOTE: You do not have to be tested to join the dojo. Only to PvP.
Who we are
The dojo is an ENTRY LEVEL AND ONE OF THE ONLY PUBLIC RP THREADS. RP is A way of interactive creative writing. Where you can go on adventures, have fights and generally have fun. Think of dungeons and dragons, but its horribly imbalanced since there is not an experience system or dice. Its great! The Dojo loves different opinions, ideas and writing no matter if you are new to RP(roleplay) or extremely experienced. If you have an opinion to share about how to make the dojo better, contact one of the Sensei's that run the place (We would prefer this rather then excessive and unintelligent shit talking). Every work of writing is appreciated and accepted (shitposts…maybe not so much).
How we work(list of Admins included)
The dojo is run by a group of Sensei’s. These Sensei’s will make up most of the game changing decisions to benefit The Dojo. BUT Everyone's opinion matters a great deal. So the Sensei’s will make poll’s within the group for the members to vote and decide on big issues/ideas. Even then, the sensei’s will inform the group of changes and decisions made. The list of sensei’s are as follows: Inflatablepants/Pants(GONE ON HIATUS) The God-Eater/Cob Royalblade/Royal Fresh Cazberry/Vio nullCth/Cth And the leader of the dojo union: Tubbs
OUR GOAL
At the dojo, we want to provide an amazing place for you to improve on your writing in a fun way. We love new faces, and will accept you as soon as you walk up to the door. We also love other RP threads that have really awesome stuff, and we want to invite them all here so we can have a hub world of sorts. Whether this is through an interdimensional portal, space ships or whatever. We want everyone we can to be a part of this and interact with everyone! This way, you can meet people you never would have met before. If you are a leader of an RP group and are interested in this, please contact me so we can discuss further! I like discussing stuff!
RULES
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212678270/0/0
How to PvP
Player VS Player Is what the dojo is known for. Basically, you can fight each others characters with your own, to see who’s the best or to simply make some kick ass action. Please follow all the rules while you fight, so you can make it as badass as possible. In order to PvP you must be tested by a sensei, or a designated tester of the dojo. You can find out who is a tester by seeing "How we Work." Also, When you fight another player make sure that you always react to their move. The best way to do this is like this. >Have a stanza dedicated to your reaction from you opponents last reply. >Have a stanza dedicated to your attack. If you completely block another opponents attack, its courteous to not attack them within the same reply. This way, you’ll never go wrong.
World Creation(Getting started at the Dojo starts here)
This is the most important section for you RP experience. This is where you make your characters, their stories, where they could live. Also, this is where you can create a Faction to participate in the thread, as well as having access to writing for the group(The stories you write do not have to relate to the dojo at all) Bio's(RECCOMENDED) https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212677641/0/0 Backstory for Characters https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/217556475/0/0 Property Creator https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/220228259/0/0 Writers Hub https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/220575696/0/0 Faction Creator https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/222042811/0/0
The Dojo
Physical Appearance https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212677894/0/0 NOTE: The dojo only uses Mac Cannons for any kind of defense. • The End of the Dojo The Dojo, attacked by a final grand effort from the Lenny’s, had found itself propelled thousands of feet up to the sky. It was lifted by a grand space ship, the size of the land the dojo was build on. As the dojo dangled atop the planet, like if one were to lift a plant out of its pot by its top, all had seemed lost. The Dojo would be dropped, the impact great enough to ravage all of Tatakai and destroy the planet. However, a small group of remaining fighters made one final effort to save the world. With but a half an hour to spare; Tubbs, Salazar, Tesuto, and the Dojo’s original leader: Ninja, cut their way through the ship to get to the ships bridge, so that they could defeat Lenny P Lennysworth and return the Dojo to the ground. However, they would be betrayed. As Tubbs and Ninja confronted Lenny, Tubbs found himself stabbed in the back by none other than Ninja. It had turned out that it was Ninja, not Lenny (who had actually been a cyborg like that of Tesuto), who had orchestrated the destruction of the world. Ninja Killed Salazar, and the fight that ensued was the last battle of the world. Tesuto against Lenny, and Sargenttubbs against Ninja. Lenny would be vanquished, and after a gruesome battle; Tubbs dealt the final blow, and drove his blade through Ninja’s heart. However, Tubbs fell. He could not make it, and he died as a result of his wounds. After everything, that chaotic man: some say the man who’s nature represented the very heart of the dojo itself, faded away. With no time to reverse what Ninja had done, Tesuto initiated one final act. As he drove his blade through himself, he detonated the Dojo’s core: an energy source large enough to destroy an entire country if it were to go off. And so, that is what transpired. From all over the world, a blinding light would be seen. All sound was ruptured, and if one were to stand in that blast it would be like being present for the instant creation of a star. Such passionate flame and blinding aura would destroy anyone. The Dojo, and the land it stood on, was completely vaporized by the blast. The shockwave carried on for miles and miles, and with the shockwave it carried away the life of the Dojo: ending it, and putting it to rest. The Dojo had ended. However what that blast didn’t destroy were the many memories those who partook in the Dojo’s events had carried. The petty squabbles, the funny conversations, the arena fights, the dramatic narratives, the sh#t-posts.... Nothing could take that away. Nothing in the world. And so, these events concluded the Dojo’s time. After five years, it could finally sleep, rest, and be reflected upon. This was.... The End. some final remarks:
Pants: Well everyone, it’s been a pleasure. For anyone who decides to lurk their way back here, I hope you know it was an amazing time being able to write and make memories with you. Wherever you are now, I hope you’re doing well. I hope you can reflect on this place and smile, and I hope that you can continue on towards a bright future. As a final note, please let this be the final post for the dojo. Do not try and resurrect it here, or anywhere else. It’s time is over, I think it’s time for new things to come out of it. So thank you all, and I wish you all the best. This is Inflatablepants, and I’m signing out. Tubbs: Well, it’s been a hell of a 5 years here. And I’d say if you’re reading this you’re someone who partook in the Dojo when it was alive, as none of this will make sense to someone new. I’m not much for the sappy goodbyes but you’re what made Dojo a great as it was. It started from a joke post by Ninja and due to the community it flourished into a 5 year long story, I was in 7th grade when this started and I’m a senior in high school now. It may sound pathetic but I and many others grew up with the Dojo. It wasn’t as much about the characters and the stories we wrote as much as it was about the relationships and bonds we formed along the way. However, the characters were a big part of it too. So if you’re reading this and want to use your character again, you can obviously just say they escaped dojo in time somehow, but with that in mind, don’t try to revive or reboot dojo here or elsewhere. You can write stories in the same universe so you can continue to use your character but it’s time to lay the Dojo to rest. With that said, this is Tubbs saying goodbye to the dojo and you one last time.
The Lie /They have a right to know
i haven't posted here in a bit so here goes nothing and this one will be much different than i would normally do :p
Serenity was out home doing household chores as she sent her kids out to play. They had grown older and bigger but they were in no way adults yet but preteens now. They kids all had common knowledge that they never really knew who there father was. It bugged them a little bit but they knew wasn't their place to ask. But unfortunately they come to find out who their father weither they had wanted to or not. As veena who playing with her older brother sivath in the yard manages to hear a loud roar of a dragon not one she reckonizes as a huge black shadow of a dragon is seen stretching across the ground as its heard flying above them. It's a much bigger than Leyla and serenity's forms combined as its seen landing very close nearby. It prompts the four young dragons to run in terror as strange dragons always ment bad things. But this seems like a larger version of sivath with it red back and black underbelly. Could this be their father? Who knows really as the kids went for the safety of the cave where their mother was. Serenity however was drawn in by the commotion the much bigger dragon cause. It also managed to draw the attention of a few others that were in the vicinity. Serenity was the first one to recognize who it was exactly however although she's hasn't seen him in a few decades but she still recognizes him. She watched the larger dragon before walking up to him her youngsters following her as they know it's probably the safest spot. "As i live and breath i haven't seen you in what a good 16 years since her passing your mate and my best friend Candice."says serenity a deep male voice answers her while looking down at serenity and glancing at the four little youngsters hiding behind her. "So true my old friend seems like we have much to discuss."says the dragon
open
• Edge Of The Multiverse: Within the multiverse there laid a gatekeeper. A monster that knows all, sees all, and thinks about every move. Some seek it for forbidden knowledge, unnatural power, a miracle that can only be bestowed from the likes of a god. A single man standing at the edge of the multiverse commuted with such a creature barring gifts of another god. He wished to improve his knowledge on combat to challenge monsters that assumed humanity was in their clutches. Somewhere to learn so many different ways to fight, different ways to heal, techniques to drive back beasts of unnatural design. The gate keeper, Yog Sothoth, thought for a while before opening a door. A world of several eras thrown together sat on the other side, the future soldier, a knight clad in armor, a creature not quite human but close enough to be recognized as such, Tatakai. Tatakai in front of the gate Just outside stood a man. He didn't look particularly impressive at first. A long jacket made with black and white cloth, a violin on his back, a rather standard Kreigmaseir blade sheathed just behind it, and a repeating pistol holstered at his hip. Nothing the Dojo hasn't already seen before. The only time something seemed off was when a mugger came at him. Instead of shooting the man down, he just pulled the gun and waved it in the muggers face. The mugger proceeded to gasp before dropping to the floor shaking uncontrollably. The Violinist moved on seeming unphased muttering something under his breath. Anyone who checked on the mugger would see nothing was physically wrong with him, he just laid there, balled up looking traumatized. What happened could have been anyone's guess.
Open. Introducing Claude Gustave.
• Gloriana-Class Battleship, designation Tempered Fury, en-route to Tatakai, E.T.A 3 hours 'What is it that you need to say Captain? We have but three hours before we arrive in-system, and our men and machinery have been drilled and prepared as thoroughly as possible within the confines of a voidship.' A voice rings out from the center of a cold, dark armory, the speaker standing stock-still bar the movement of his face, his pitted and cratered armor so unmoving that he could almost be mistaken for a statue in the low-light had he not spoken. "This is not related to operational preparedness, I came to inquire as to why we have decided to annex land from these people for a stronghold. It is much unlike you to order an annexation of land from a population that we are not likely to target, and frankly, it has given me much room for doubt." A second, much smaller individual crowds up the sole entrance to the chamber as he responds, his own cratered armor gleaming in the low light cast from the passageway. 'You of all should know by now that there is a method behind all of my madness Gormyr, you have had some sixty-odd years to witness it for yourself. Not as much as many of your brothers, but your experience has not been marred by the presence of former Hunt Masters, so you of all should know without a hint of doubt that I am not doing it for material gain nor for renown, or even because I think we need a bastion here. You know yourself that the visions have never been wrong, and have always guided us to where we were needed most, as the gods have seen fit to visit upon you visions of your own. The gods are not so fickle as to lead us astray after our services to mankind and its equals, lest you foolishly think we have somehow been worshipping the Ruinous Powers in some way, in spite of us all being blanks beyond their potential to tamper.' The statuesque figure spoke lowly, all but a whisper beside the ever present background noise of the mighty warship surrounding them. "I understand. I suppose I worry overmuch now that my ward has left us all so that she may live her own life. I would not ask you were it not for that, as the Chapter and its host are all that I have left in my life to care for as it stands." The second man, Gormyr, sighs quietly to himself and grips the bulkhead, turning to leave as he goes. 'You would perhaps be surprised to hear this from me of all people Gormyr, but I worry about your ward as well, as much as anyone else aboard this vessel. I do not doubt for a second however that she is far more capable than you give her credit for. I believe that she is happier in life without us around, but that does not mean she will have forgotten us after all we have done for her, you most of all. She lives today because of your intervention.' Gormyr stops momentarily, then continues on with his features slackened in grief, the hatch closing behind him as he steps out into the passageway, and away from the chamber of painful solitude behind him. Tatakai, uninhabited island chain, present time A great and terrible rift in reality tears itself open over the largest mountain in the local chain, and out of it floats the massive bulk of the Tempered Fury and the smaller forms of its escorts, all of them buzzing with activity as they scour the mountain beneath them of life with a burning fusillade of lance fire. A great many dropships deploy mere moments after the strike ends, setting upon the blasted landscape in a buzzing swarm, setting their hardened occupants down with incredible speed so that they may form a secured perimeter under the iron gaze of the naval arm, and allow the second wave of engineers to begin work on the stronghold as soon as their mighty machines have been landed and assembled. One of the very first dropships to deploy carries none other than Gormyr, his liege, and their personal command staff, who upon landing begin hastily throwing together a temporary headquarters in expectation of visitation, and to establish some form of control structure independent of the naval arm.
Open I guess, if for whatever reason people are traipsing around near uninhabited land or saw/heard that rift/bombardment.
Not long after a recruiter stepped out, four soldiers with him. He glanced around the area, looking for people he knew would be suited for a space walk, as he started hailing people. The first few rejected, some started coming around however. The promise of loot and something to shoot was usually enough. He'd chosen James Heller's outfit for this. It was a nice setup. The jacket, jeans, and boots were what he liked. Unfortunately biomass manipulation was off the table. • Will The Circle Be Unbroken? Caroline walked down the dimly lit hallway that led to the ship's mainframe, which contained an array of all of Frontier's data, access to the technologies of Concordia, and controls to the ship itself. It was a simple AI core, meant for processing and navigation. But it would serve a purpose. "Up ahead." A voice said into her ear piece. "All you got to do is plug in the device into the central core, and I'll be able to overwrite the mainframe completely. You'll have complete access. I'll download all of their files and put them on public domain. They won't be able to run any longer." "Okay." Caroline said, coming across a sealed metal door. She used her fabricated access key, and it would soon open. "And that Project you were talking about? What's going to happen when I plug this thing in?" There was no response. The signal seemed to be jammed. Something was wrong. She looked around the room for answers, and found... something. "Hello Caroline." The Frontier General said, the door closing behind her. "So this is where it ends, isn't it? The day of reckoning." "You." She said bitterly, drawing the gun she had picked up. "I don't want to hear another word, you understand? After what you've done? You deserve to die." "And you may believe that." He said, his hands raised. He was unarmed, with no guard to back him up. But why? "Please. Just listen to me. I was like you once, angry and brave. Foolish. Confronting the 'big baddies' that had taken everything away from me. Remnants of the past." "Why should I care?" "So then, when I came to the point where I almost took them down, I had realized something. That I was doing what they wanted the whole time. They used my pain, my anger, to do their work for them. Then they destroyed an entire planet. My HOME, Caroline." "Then why did you take away mine?" "I didn't. Something... went wrong. We were compromised. The device we were building on your planet was hijacked purposely by our enemy. She... did it all deliberately. Yet there was still a silver lining." "Shut up. Shut the -blam!- up." "It was you. You had the DNA of the Primes. You would have become a GOD. To rule over our worlds and give them peace. That's why we kept you here. That's why we needed you." "It's bullshit. You're all monsters. You just wanted control. And that's still all you wish for. Not peace." "Look. Please Caroline. You're being used. She is using you to get what she wants. She's in your head." "Your whole 'Divine thing that created us' shtick is wearing off. It's bullshit. All of it. None of us our gods. And this will prove it." "Please. Stop. You don't know what you're doing. If you plug in that device, millions will die. We are not your enemy." "That's all you'll ever be." She said, as she pulled the trigger. He tried to dodge, but it was too late. The General of Frontier had at last been fatally wounded. He lied on the floor, dying, as she moved over to the mainframe input. She put on the device, triangular in shape, and within moments the entire room began to flicker. The lights turned off, the screens glitched red, and the emergency alarm kicked in. "I'm..." The general croaked, blood spilling onto the floor. "...sorry, Sarah. I should've... done more." Something loaded onto the screens, a... program. It began messing with the data the scrolled amidst the red interface. It was becoming... corrupted. In every way. Like something was taking over. This wasn't a hack, it was a core transfer. "W$&@?!ING: $YST3M C0RRPT3D. W@RNING: E$?&!R." It spat out a set of words and characters that seemed to glitch. The system was unable to do anything. And then, something spoke. "Hello." It said, in a raspy metallic voice. Female persona, judging by the speech pattern. "You've got to be fuсking kidding me." She said, unable to move. Something was stopping her. It? She didn't know. The machine would switch to a more automated, yet still nightmarish voice. Like it was still very limited in what it could do. "System access transfer: Complete. Ship systems under automated control. Accessing COMMAND Central Mainframe. WARNING: Command Restrictions Overwritten. Overriding EOS Weapons' System parameter restrictions. Access: Granted. Setting targets: Sector 17, AV Refueling Station, Frontier Research & Defense Installment 49, Concordian Spaceport..." The voice trailed off, as Caroline realized what was happening. Whatever this thing was, it was targeting all of Concordia. She tried to run, but the door behind her had been closed. And then, suddenly, something happened. She screamed, as a piercing sound emanated out from... somewhere. She feel to the ground, her nose beginning to bleed. The entire room became dark and distorted. Like something was... there. Was it in her head? She didn't know. She couldn't focus. A figure, that seemed to glitch in and out of reality, tore itself from the air. It was... digital. But it was the woman she had witnessed on that cold, stone throne. "Oh, Caroline." It said, as it reached for her. "How a fool you were." It grabbed her arm, and it burned. It burned her. Her consciousness. Her mind. She was a host. A vessel. And she couldn't let it win. "You think I'm the fool?" She said, snarky in tone. "-blam!- YOU." She tried to rip the device off of the the core, but it was too late. She gasped, the thing taking hold. After a moment, it vanished. The room was normal, save the corrupted screens and lack of power. Caroline lie on the ground, her hand outstretched as if she was trying to grab something. She was... still. And then she opened her eyes. -------------------------------------- Somewhere else on the ship... "Dammit!" Jay said, as the ship rumbled and lost power. "She got to her before we did. You need to get out of there. Now!"
Open for Ginger.
• Background Noise All around Tatakai, the newest arrivals had been quite busy. Fortifications had sprung up in unoccupied territories, placed strategically to prevent potential invasions and attacks. More soldiers and materiel were being ferried onto the planet from the three battlecruisers in Tatakaian orbit. Hawkwind was establishing quite a large presence on the planet, though it appeared that they were avoiding hostilities, and thus far had not done too much reaching out to new factions. Sidewinder was lucky enough to speak briefly with the Trayven, and unlucky enough to deal with Rubicon. For the mercenary, however, this was not the first time he’d been confronted by another large force, although he’d been much less prone to flat out assault Rubicon. Too costly... for now. Same with the Trayven. Burning bridges was a fool’s plan and Sidewinder was no fool. He refused hostile advance and hostile stance, but he made sure that he looked like a force to be trifled with. Enough soldiers and enough armor made a statement. Hawkwind was here to stay, and they were not going to be removed easily. Their true intentions, however, remained a mystery. Sidewinder was instructed to be vague, and he was quite good at falling orders. ~~~~~~ Walking the Line Rachael had been in Dojoville for some time since her rather nasty experience, and she’d so far received a mixed welcome. She had to admit, even if it cost her some standing and some potential perks, it felt good to be honest with herself. Her act of kindness to herself in confronting her past and determining that perhaps it was best to move on, however, was overshadowed by the presence of Hawkwind. She knew very well what their purpose was. Rachael had sat through the meetings, she’d heard the discussions, and she was wary. The mercenaries were known for their ruthlessness and their general lack of concern for collateral damage, and they had gear to rival that of the Amoridian Armed Forces. Aside from the general threat that they posed from what she could see, she also feared what would happen should they discover her identity. As she walked down the streets of the Dojo, a chill ran down her spine as she tried not to imagine being put through something worse than what the Courier had done to her. She knew precisely what her former comrades did for interrogation, and she preferred not thinking about that. Luckily for her, she at least now had armor and a mask, something to hide her identity. She could blend in in the Dojo, but nonetheless, she made it a goal to avoid contact with the patrolling mercenaries. Practice had her well-accustomed to hiding in plain sight, but never before had she actually been so fearful of what could potentially happen.
Both are open. Interact with patrolling Hawkwind soldiers, interact with Rachael, whatever’s good.
"The Void." Dojoville, Trayve Shield Dome. ======================== "-The drive took heavy damage, ruptured, and created a localized slip space field. Last known transmission lead us to believe pirates where the cause. The ship is still mostly intact, torn in two, the drive is making one half impossible to board, swallowing most of the second part. First half is being cleared by the damned pirates." The hologram paused for a moment, the tiny copy of ONSC Commander Lydia Frye letting the information sink in. The room was dimly lit, four tall soldiers standing in the room, dressed in everyday clothing. Emily "Minx" Black, F-083 Evans Xio, G-012 Conner Rachtham, G-101 Ashley Gard, E-034 The four soldiers made up their small fireteam- "Gallahad, your mission is to exterminate local hostiles, and protect the science team that will arrive after to examine and shut down the field. The two pieces are stuck in dead space, unmoving. The field however is releasing arcs of energy, and warping random objects from wherever its end point is." A few groans came from them, complications in a mission, they where always there. The joys of being the best was you where used as the pack mule for everything. It was their job though, raised to do it from the beginning. "You leave at 1200 hours, two from when you see this message. Would inform you myself, but matters at Asgard are more demanding. Make us proud, Gallahad." At that, Lydia stood straight and saluted, and the hologram shut off, the lights returning to normal. Minx was the first to speak. "Space walk! Hell yeah, I haven't done this yet. What's it like, Ashley?" The short, peppy blue haired girl turned to her comrade; a raven haired, blue eyed veteran. Ashley responded then, keeping a formal tone. "Weightless. Wearing more than half a ton in armor and its poof, gone. Simulations make it as realistic as possible, but its still nothing compared to the real deal." Evans laughed then, simulations where always a joke. "Since when do simulations ever seem real? Last time they where was when the Alpha's where in training." Conner chuckled then, he knew how Alphas where, brutal, unforgiving in battle. They where the originals. That same terrifying power carried through the rest of the generations. Ashley spoke again. "They're all late thirties early forties, mostly survive on cyro-sleep and rations. Then again we do too, just a bit better than rations." Minx chuckled then, continuing on; "Hey, Spam isn't so bad! I mean eating it all the time yeah-" "Minx that shit is worse than MRE's. I was so sick of eating it back when we where on Hel clearing out those three headed scorpion things." Conner butted in. "You mean the damned Hark-Teeth? Those things where the -blam!-ing worst!" Evans joined in, remembering the long stake out, clearing out tunnels to set up a research base. "The first day, one of the rookies, that boy Shawn-" Ashley joined in then, reminiscing. "He got his uniform torn wide open when he went through the hatch!" Minx laughed then, giggling like a school girl. "Yeah, yeah! Then he was so damned pissy, only made it better when he forgot his rifle on the shuttle. Damn was he angry, never before did I hear the term 'beef jerky looking, six legged stingy bitches' before." Evan shook his head, letting out a low chuckle. Each of then laughed then, sharing in the memory of the poor grunt Shawn. Slowly though they stopped, each stuck in nostalgia. Minx started up then; "Then the meal that we got once we finished. I remember Conner spilled his corn all over himself when he was rushing over to the table." Ashley let out a snort then, remembering the pained look on Conner's face when more than half his corn was stuck to his uniform. Minx dying of laughter at the table while Evan tried to hold his in. "Ay, I was excited! That was actual food, leagues ahead of goose liver and bread!" Each of them laughed again, going on longer then as they all calmed down, and Ashley was the first to break the silence this time, after a few minutes. "We should get going, the eggheads are probably waiting for us." "Yeah they probably got their panties in a bunch, worrying about where their escort is." Minx said. Evans laughed then, and went for the door, the others following suit.
Closed Open to advice or critic
After consolidating her money, getting the right contacts, and getting a decent deal, Alpha finally had a purpose that wasn't so destructive. She smiled as she stood in her new white lab coat, an I.D. identifying her not as Alpha....but by her real name Alexandria D'Angelo, Chief M.D. It made a sense of pride and relief form as she reminisced about the few happy times other than this she'd enjoyed. But, then she had to get to work. The building was open, sporting the name "D'Angelo Medical Clinic" and a small sign reading "GRAND OPENING". She'd engage in some social interaction, and hopefully try to pick up the pieces of her life. Hopefully.
open
• Stranger to All//://Dojo Woods It had been hours since the man had risen from the ground and started wandering the snow covered woods, the fluff making a satisfying crunch underneath his boots. Snow had stuck to the olive drab cloak that had obscured his shriveled state as he made his way through the woods. It was ragged and torn at the bottom, clearly having been through years of wear and tear. He was freezing, even in the bundles of clothing underneath and the constant adjustments to them for maximum coverage. His left hand grasped a scepter, the hand wrapped in bandages spiraling up to the middle of his forearm, the rest of the arm exposed dark skin, possibly somewhere from a desert. The scepter itself was archaic, an ivory white and encrusted with small rubies, nearly as tall as the man himself. His journey across the woods had spooked birds, trees shaking and dropping more snow on the ground in small piles. His reasoning for arising from the dirt had been unknown to himself, all he could recall was blacking out and waking up underneath a shallow grave of dirt with the scepter in hands, a tool he used to slowly dig his way out. He was not completely undressed per say, having only tattered rags for clothing by the time he awoke. Fate had been on his side however, as he made his way through the woods he had found an abandoned hunters cabin with clothing, nothing else besides a bed however. Back in the present, a deer had danced its way through the woods, both the man and deer stopping in their tracks to stare at each other before the deer bolted off. The man was no tracker, it would be a fruitless endeavor to try and hunt it. He decided to make his way north, at least what he presumed to be north due to nearby moss on a tree. What had felt like another hour and voices were in earshot. Civilization. Finally! He immediately made a mad dash to the voices, now his boots thumping on the ground as he held the scepter with both hands. The snow had started to thin and then the sunlight had hit his eyes with blinding light, taking a few seconds to adjust to it. What he had found was a village that curved and twisted up to a mountain with a gigantic complex preceded by a long set of steps. What had caught the man's interest the most was the bizarre barrier, and all the knightly men and women roaming around. Just where the hell was he?
Open! This is someone...special.
• One Peculiar Morning... The man woke up to a strange morning jingle, pulling him out of his sleep. He checked the time, and determining that it was exactly 6:00am, got up quickly. "Okay, campers, rise and shine and don't forget your booties 'cause it's cold out there today!" The radio said, as he walked over in his practically pastel room to wash his face. "It's cold out there every day! What is this, Miami Beach?" The other host began to say. "Not hardly. And you know, you can expect hazardous travel later today with that, you know, that, uh, that blizzard thing." "That blizzard - thing. That blizzard - thing. Oh, well, here's the report! The National Weather Service is calling for a 'big blizzard thing!'" "Yessss, they are. But you know, there's another reason why today is especially exciting." "Especially cold!" "Especially cold, okay, but the big question on everybody's lips..." He turned off the sink, and began to move over to the window. "On their chapped lips..." "On their chapped lips, right: Do ya think Phil is gonna come out and see his shadow?" "Punxsutawney Phil!" He opened the window blinds, and to his horror he witnessed a place that he'd never thought he'd see. A small town covered in snow, bustling with activity. This was, indeed, going to be the strangest thing to happen to him in his whole life. "That's right, woodchuck-chuckers - it's..." The first radio host said. Then, in unison... "GROUNDHOG DAY!" The man just stood there, staring out of the window for the longest time. "What am I, Bill Murray?" He said to himself.
It's Groundhog Day mother-blam!-ers! Closed, because reasons. It's especially cold there, and I don't want to risk any of your characters stealing Phil and giving him a chance to drive. Usually ends in a... well... he'll be fine. *Spectacular car explosion* Well... probably not now.
"Pulling strings, arranged meetings." Dojoville. 1200 ======================= Minx let out a sigh, closing the door behind her to her room. The barracks weren't the best, but at least she had her own space. Luckily she could furnish it as well, and with the paychecks she got for her service, she managed to get some electronics, own food, a much better bed, and more. It wasn't Valhalla, the deck dedicated to Valkyrie, aboard the R.F.S Mjolnir, but it was nice either way. Flopping backwards onto the bed, she closed her eyes for a bit. Amanda was so flustered for some reason, something must be wrong. Aside from the run in with the rogue faction now on the planet, nothing else seemed off. Unless there was new orders coming from the shady government back home. ONSC was weird, and Minx didn't trust them. Groaning then, she rubbed her temples, trying to figure out what was happening. It could be anything, but if it was, it would be announced soon. At least though, she got someone new to join the ranks of Rubicon, and she managed to convince Captain Zecht to let her bring him in. Now it was just a phone call, as she reached into her pocket, and scrolled through the countless number of people on her phone. Most of them all the other Valkyrie in her company. Then, she selected his name, and with another push of a button, she was typing rapidly, sending coordinates and a scan key to get inside the Rubicon embassy.
JT
Directive: Violated Roughly 10:40 PM It was late, as the machine walked down the cold empty street, down in the darker depths of Dojoville. No one but the homeless kept on the streets at this time, all others were off doing nightly things elsewhere. Chondra, though, was heading to a nightclub. Not for pleasure of course, Chondra didn’t have that feeling, no way to experience it, but she did have greed, want. This greed had been driving her for years, off of planets, through cities, to murder, theft, so much so that it had become routinely. Lately that routine had been broken. She had found a sort of team, if you could call it that, which worked for here. They were all out of jobs, desperate, so they were easy to ‘employ’. This team did jobs for her, did her hacking for her so she could go off and do more physical things. Tonight her team took up her online job for awhile while she went to make a deal, one that would allow her to make progress on a certain...project. ...Chondra was easily let into the club, the usual bouncers being replaced with ones from her negotiators. She headed in swiftly, navigating through the mass of flesh that danced in the artificial light, to the synthetic beat that moved the air in a harsh rhythm. She saw the five men, dressed like normal citizens, sitting in the back of the club. Already, she could tell they were armed, her various scanners informed her synthetic mind of at least 9 others watching her around the club, also armed. She was not alarmed, she proceeded calmly through the masses, eventually reaching the group, seeing the black case on the floor behind the furthest one. “You the one?” One asked, nodding at her. Chondra only returned the nod putting out a metal hand, the nanites stiffening into fingers on the end of her tentacle-like arm. Once more, he nodded again, the black case getting passed to Chondra by the last man in the group. “‘Aight, now your part. Give us the, ‘You-Know-What’.” Chondra breaks off the lock on the case with her other arm, and opens it. Inside sat nothing, just weights to make it seem like there might be. Out of the corner of her eye she sees the men pull out their guns, one a knife, and aim at her. The man with the knife advances at her and attempts a strike to the back of her metal head, which is easily halted by her hand, moving in a split second. “Directive violated; received item unsatisfactory. Deal: broken.” Chondra snapped the man’s arm in half, and threw him down, in the same moment drawing her sword off of her frame in a split second and slashing it through one of the others. The rest jump back, starting to fire on her, the crowds of people in the club turn their heads, some screaming and running, with many doing the same soon after. Unaffected, she advances on them, dicing them like meat in a kitchen. Her free hand draws her shotgun as the other men around the club draw their guns and start firing on her as well, accidentally hitting some fleeing bystanders, but not letting up the barrage they were putting on Chondra. She fires back at them, the shot reaching their targets at the surprising range, dropping them in two, if not one shot. The men fell, as well as other bystanders, en mass. Citizens ran out into the night, screaming for help as the firefight went on... An hour passed, and the shots had stopped, Chondra stood in the center of the club, scanning the surroundings, nanites repairing damaged areas of her body. Her shotgun and sword both lay on the ground, drenched in the red blood of the people.
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/227658094/0/0/1

Open, do whatever. Be aware that this robot is very hostile, if you couldn’t tell.
Not a word often associated with bar stools but it fit the bill perfectly for the abomination of a chair Quincy was sitting on. Other than the rocky surface texture of the stool, it was just like all the other smooth wooden ones. The weather outside was terrible. Despite the bitterly cold temperatures, it was still managing to pour down raining, forcing most people to stay inside to avoid the downpour. And thus, the cafe was packed, and Q was stuck sitting in the one seat no one wanted. Waiting for his morning coffee to cool, he sat there tapping his fingers on the counter. (Open to all.)
