Rise of Iron size scale. Thoughts?

Ok guys. Sorry if this concept has already been posted, but I wanted to get you guys' thoughts on something. The Rise of Iron's scale has been UNOFFICIALLY said to not be as large as that of The Taken King. With the Taken King, we know that it included a HUGE patrol area with hidden secrets, special chests, the Court of Oryx, special patrol beacons, and numerous other adventures to get into. However, the Taken King had FOUR strikes. That's more than the two previous expansions combined. Plus, Taken King ushered in year 2 which gave us a bunch of new weapons. How do you guys feel about only having one strike with this new expansion? And how do you think the rest of the expansion will satisfy us? To me, if they have just one strike but they have something like the Court of Oryx, that won't bother me too much. Obviously we're getting a new patrol area. I just want to know you guys' opinion on it. Do you think this is a smaller scale DLC setting us up for a bigger one, or do you think this is it for a long time?

  • RoI will be a lot smaller then people might think.

      • I think, personally, that RoI is going to be the best value for money that we've had all game. Let's compare. Taken King had more than RoI 4 more brand new strikes(including Malok) 3 new subclasses I'm pretty sure Taken King added more maps than RoI, but I'm not 100% sure But other than that, they are very similar sized expansions. It's likely as well that we will have more frequent Live Updates as well. And RoI is ten dollars less. So, it's really up to you how you weigh tear expansions together, but I'm going to be a having a lot of dun with the game until D2 comes out.

        • Archon's Forge is Rise of Iron's Court of Oryx.

          • Really, the Dreadnought isn't that big. For how massive the ship itself is, the playable space inside where patrol beacons are placed is miniscule. On top of that the best looking areas like some of the vast cavernous backgrounds from the Alak Hul strike are just that, hidden behind locked strike doors.
