Very unfriendly people
Patrols are PvE are they not? Well one guy decides that it is PvP and gets mad for me shooting at him when he does not help with tier 3 court. He voice chats me calling me names (specifically a female dog) and saying that "the way I am playing will get me banned" also saying that "his brother in law works for bungie and once he gets out of a meeting will possibly get me banned."
I think that is a little much. I have done nothing wrong but play the game and have fun like everyone else.
I do not know what category this is suppose to go but I felt like this guy needed to be reported or something because I feel like he is ruining this game we all love. I won't put his PlayStation name in here but if Bungie or Activision wants his name for any reason I will be more than happy to comply. Thank you.

That's pretty much the "my dad can beat up your dad" argument the kiddies use on this playground. I don't know about PS but Xbox has a lovely report/blocking option. Wish they had it for real life stuff....my neighbor is a doosh.

Apparently one out of 30 players has a father/brother/sister/uncle/aunty/cousin/cottage cheese/brother in law (etc) that works for Bungie. These Bungie employees, that they know so well, all have the ability to 'flick the switch' and ban people. These Bungie employees also ban people on requests from friends and or family members without any facts to support the request. In the kindest possible way - kick yourself up the backside and do not ever entertain such thoughts again. All the best fella.

1 ReplyThey take that type of report quite serious over most on Xbox you should have reported him. What you were doing did not effect his gameplay. (not sure if PS has a similar feature)

If you have a recording of it, submit a report to Sony. They take that kind of harassment very seriously, and issue bans quite swiftly.

"gets mad for me shooting at him when he does not help with tier 3 court" Was he a fireteam member of yours? you were annoyed and by your own admission harassed him/her because they weren't helping you. correct me if I'm wrong but is anyone obligated to help random guardians? True, the guy reacted like a little kid by sending voice messages to you, but you should know it's annoying having randoms shooting at you when on patrol. just an observation.

2 RepliesIt's unfortunate that stuff like that happens in the game, but don't think that's how everyone acts. I love being able to help people out and if I find someone going out of their way to insult me or harass me I just report them and move on not much again unfortunately that gets done.
