1 ReplyI've been running a sidearm for the last week in crucible just because of all the UR players out there. Universal Remote is a great gun..... but sidearm says no. Sidearm > Universal Remote.

I love universe but I gotta agree, it also shows us how the community just use the popular weapons which pretty much proves the the community is a bunch of skill-less copycats smh -

So if Universal Remote is a mid range weapon, does that mean my HC's are long range weapons? Hell no. HC's are close range weapons. They sneak out to mid range with the right perks, and have severe drop off at long range. I'll never forget doing 26 critical damage on Widows Court when TTK dropped. UR is creeping out to just beyond melee range for a OHK, and it has to hit crits. Op, learn to use your guns in the appropriate range.

I regularly run universal and a sidearm great combo, uni has good distance, painfully slow shooting though

7 RepliesI can't tell you how many times in this last IB that I would run double shotgun and just stare down my site as an opposing guardian would run at me in a straight line and never pull up or start to fire. Many, many times this would happen and I was always waiting for the guardian to stop short and start shooting me. I was out of my range, I was dead in the water. Nope, they just kept running at me in a straight line. Never wavering. I won those contests more times than not. Maybe, just maybe, the weapons aren't the problem. Maybe there are way too many moron players in this community.

In skilled hands, universal remote can be deadly. However, so can most weapons. Some players dominate because they are real good. I've also been in games where players had this gun and did poorly. I kind of like the challenge of facing a good player with this gun. It inspires me to get better.

7 Replies[spoiler]map awareness[/spoiler] It goes a long way. Yeah, primaries suck right now I get that. But if you can't see someone coming straight at you, maybe you should get your eyes checked. Look at your radar and look at what's in front of you. It's REALLY not hard.

They need to slow player movement and make map proportions much longer to actually create ranges in the game. Much of the crucible maps are close quarters and indoors. The only appropriately sized maps would be Bastion, Skywatch, and that moon one. But people dislike then because they can't use shotguns as effectively and sniping without the ambush scope is takes a little more focus.
