Please bungie, pls add back double shadestep/twilight garrison! These are really special features in destiny and doing this unnecessary nerf was horrible. I think at least 75% of destiny community want this back. It would be really cool if this actually happened again :)

Not until warlocks get an evade, though exotic armor or otherwise. Blink is utter trash even if they buff it. Don't give me that shit about Titan not having blink, because shoulder charge is a blink like attack. Not like warlocks actual teleportation, but similar to hunters rapid movement based blink. Shadestep was a get out of jail free card. Way to effective at avoiding and disorientating people. A Titan could skate across the sky, shouldercharge, foh a group of people, jet pack into orbit, while tg'ing back to safety, almost w/o a scratch. Meanwhile warlocks are being rushed and out strafed. We can't even move backwards or sideways fast enough. So damn slow. Even with max agility. Shit, I'd be fine with some exotic armor that increased our movement speed. Even a tlaloc type armor would be awesome. Expected remarks: 1. You have a super that brings you back to life! How does that mostly work out? 2. You have the best 6v6 super! Lies. Any super should troll non supers and idiots who can't focus fire. Or just admit that you -blam!-ed up and paid the price. Super v super, generally Vs hammer: hammer wins Vs Arcblade: arc wins Vs tether: tether wins Vs novabomb: nova wins Vs fish of havoc: fist wins Vs sunsinger. Sunsinger loosing against generally anything Vs ward of dawn: Bubble wins 80% of the time. Vs goldengun: Flaming pistol ohks every roaming super from range. 3. Your melee is bullshit. Might be, but smoke and knives have infinite range and some tracking (knives). And we are space -blam!-ing wizards.

3 RepliesHonestly just giving this back to Twilight Garrison makes more sense. Shadestep can stop tracking nades and is harder to hit when activated. Garrison kdoesnt have the same advantage

Shadestep is annoying. And I'm fine with having 1 dodge. I don't really use the Twiligt Garrison anymore.

Double shadestep was a little too much (same with garrison). You could literally get out of any situation with it. I agree with the nerf and I main nightstalker. A single evasion is fine, it becomes a tactical decision, not a panic button.

I think it was necessary, some people really got good at it and it became impossible to deal with some people who used shadestep and TG, but i don't complately agree, i think that if you gave up an exotic slot entirely for mobility you should get it, i'm saying that if you pick shadestep from the subclass tree you should have 1 charge for it, but if you put on graviton forfeit you get 2 shadesteps, and same goes for TG but since it's not an ability it's given to you via armor it should decrease your recovery or something

The funny thing here is how everyone thinks double shadestep was fine but y1 blink was broken lol If they bring double shadestep/twilight grassion back there better be a delay (at least on shadestep) because everyone relied on it

14 RepliesBlink was disorienting and still is when used right. It deserved it. Shadestep and Twilight Garrison evade are fine. You know exactly where they are. It's like a jump essentially. No one liked those nerfs.
