PVP SNIPING
I don't have a problem with sniper rifles being a one shot precision kill but they're still over used in PVP. You have players running around and using them in mid range conflicts, that shouldn't happen. Solution: No more weak scopes on the sniper rifles. If the snipers wanna snipe let em hang waaaay back and snipe. If you limit the scopes to only long range/high powered types, it forces them to play back, limiting their use as it should be. That way, they must switch weapons if someone is any where near their local.

2 RepliesSnipers are fine. They fit their intended role. If the lane you're pushing has snipers staring it down, it's your fault for getting picked.

The only thing this will do is make so many complaint and nag that shotguns should be a 2 shot kill and malee does too much damage. Trust me, the advantage shotguns have over snipers is still remarkable. Only suggestion I have is to not challenge a sniper lane and to crouch and hide wen u get the slightest damage bcuz snipers still 2 shot kill to the body. Good luck with your gaming dude

Buy a cronusmax or a titan one, use the mod that makes you shot at the moment you ADS. Add a marker in your screen and you can shotgun-snipe as much as you wish. Saw at least 3 guys doing that this week. People, you can't talk about nerfs (neither for shotgun, neither for snipers, nor for any primary) while Bungie not ban massively cheaters.

8 RepliesThis is not a hard concept. Not sure why so many ppl can't grasp it. The issue isn't sniping being too easy. It was way easier in yr 1, but a lot less complaining. The problem is that the only weapon that can counter a sniper is a sniper. Buff primaries across the board. Thorn, tlw, hawkmoon all had thier time to shine and they could counter snipers from any range. Bring that style back, and snipers won't be a problem. And before you say that powerful primaries would ruin pvp, they won't. Pvp is just a huge special weapon fest anyway. Whatever kills the fastest is what ppl will use. (Shotguns,snipers,fusions)

This game has very few long range maps and thus those scopes would hinder people's sniping experience. As so many people have said on this forum, git gud

3 RepliesThe scopes are not the problem as you saw in the April update good snipers will adapt either way. Maybe you should not peak out in front of someone hardscoping and unless you know you can out snipe them. or just run thorn shotgun

Yeah because in the future they are only going to use telescopes on their sniper rifles... snipers are fine where they are.
