(I lost access to my old account, so I will repost them.) Six of us are preparing to go on an adventure to carry out Eris's will. We must prepare for the trials ahead, for it will be challenging, and many who have tried, failed. The punishment for failure is death. I will be keeping log through this journal... Long has it been since I have updated this journal. The six of us have finally prepared ourselves for the life threatening challenge that has now brought itself to us. We are now heading to the Moon, to enter the pits of The Hellmouth. Upon our landing, we notice a circular plate of a large size. Large enough to fit maybe 10 people. The plate seems to have a dark energy to it. When I stepped on the plate, the dark energy began to form a bridge, extending itself halfway across The Hellmouth. The bridge suddenly materialized itself. At the end of the bridge was a hole, obviously showing the only direction was down. We knew once we crossed, there would be no return. My fireteam crossed the bridge, and fell down into the pit. A fall so great, one wonders how survival would be possible fron the fall. We landed on a plate similar to the one that formed the bridge, but this one was illuminated. As we looked around, we noticed that there was nothing but darkness. We seemed to cross a realm of reality, but this was no dream or figment of our imagination. This was real. This was Crota's world. This was the world of the hive god's son. Crota's influence on this world is reflected upon by the features of it. I could feel his very power weighing on my shoulders. I then noticed a light, one that almost gave me a sense of sanctuary. I then noticed Thrall. Minions of darkness, corrupted to the point of blindness and insanity. They hunger for our light, and would drive it from our very bones any opportunity they could. This was their opportunity, and they intended to take up the offer. It was obvious our goal was the light. We prepared ourselves for battle. We took charge for the light, but as we left the plate we began to feel the weight of His power weigh heavier upon us taking literal effect upon our abilities. I could run no longer. The light was so close, but I could not encourage myself to move any faster. I have never felt such influence before. As we managed to reach the light, barely harmed by the minions of darkness, we could feel the weight lifting from our bodies. I saw another light as we reached this one, and without hesitation, we dashed for the second one. It seemed to be a pattern. One light to the next, the Weight of Darkness upon us in between each one. My fireteam was a resilient one. One that could not be taken to easily. Then we saw it. A great light, emitting from a massive doorway. Knowing that was our destination, we headed toward it. This would be our first mistake. We saw another plate, exactly like the one that formed the bridge to enter this place. Immediately, we all took stand upon the plate. All was quiet, but only briefly. We were awaiting a battle that we had not expected. Suddenly creatures of darkness as large as boulders, Knights of darkness, with swords as large as our bodies, thrall amounting an army all swarming at us. We held a strong position. Again, my fireteam was resilient. Then suddenly one of us, a warlock powerful of the void, fell. Taken by a thrall cursed with darkness, consuming it's existance in exchange for one of ours. The minions had taken their toll. He was dead. Never to return. His ghost was taken along with him. We could not allow his sacrifice to be in vein. The bridge had formed, and we had crossed.
