Companion app not working for 360 users
I think that it is unfair for those of us that have been using the companion app since Destiny started can not use the app now because the 360 is considered a legacy. I find it a little disappointing that those of us that are loyal Destiny players and guardian can I use the app because when she decided to make it a legacy system. I would like to know other people's input on the subject anybody have any words to say?

4 RepliesIf you can afford it, save up for a one, it's worth the upgrade, a lot of good tittles are coming out now and the one is definitely affordable. Not trying to put you down or anything but upgrading to the one finally made my gaming experience a lot funner

2 RepliesHi. Have you tried using the Ishtar commander or Tower Ghost apps? I'm not sure if they are just going to be next gen as well as they get their data directly from bungie. Try sending an email through to the lovely Ishtar guy. He usually replies in less than 24 hours and is very helpful.

2 Repliesoh as for other people i'm sure you'll get many that don't care at all because it deals with an older system, they'll think you're evil, they won't care that you just want access to your account through the app like you had a few weeks ago because it's an old system. They won't care.

Edited by Diamond D Nice: 8/24/2016 8:07:30 PMyeah i think it's a dick move. I not releasing new dlc or games on old consoles but to so drastically harm the old game seems vinditive. I won't play much now because it's just way too much of a pain to get guns. Especially with full characters and full vaults i barely remember where my guns are. it's really hard to manage materials and gear. I did a little iron banner and even bought a emblem rather than come my other accounts until i found one with the proper emblem on it. Unfortunatlely the i was caught off guard or i'd have spread my coins and motes evenly among characters. Now they are all in a giant pile on one so if i need to upgrade i have to look on every character to get find the one pile of materials or motes or exotic shards etc. kinda a pain. But they don't want people to play on 360. it's their choice but i think it's a bad move that won't make me want to play the game more while i decide if i even want to continue on a newer platform.

2 RepliesThe reason that the app no longer works for legacy consoles is because Bungie would likely have to maintain two different versions to work with the new content for current gen consoles and old content for legacy consoles. I'm guessing that's the case for gear management on bungie.net as well.

If you have recently played destiny on a legacy console I really hope you would've read the wall of text that assaulted your eyes the second you started the game.
