So I understand that Bungie made the conscious decision to remove burns from Primary Weapons in an attempt to increase weapon diversity and usage. That is all well and good, but as far as Exotic Primaries go, wouldn't it make them more "exotic" if they all had burn damage on them? I'm just thinking about how the Gally is making it's triumphant return in RoI and if it is even 80% of it's old Y1 self... it is nearly a guarantee that most of us will be toting it as our exotic weapon. This is nothing new as in Y1 everyone that had the Gally, for the most part, used it as their default exotic weapon of choice. But if primary weapons had burn types attached... it might make me feel more tempted to use them instead. Not sure if I am in the minority here, but if we are not ever getting back primary raid legendary weapons with a burn... why not add it to all the exotics to make them more powerful and unique? Ace of Spades w/ Arc burn? Hawkmoon w/ Solar? Bad JuJu w/ Void? That would be pretty sweet if you ask me. Thoughts?
