Idea: Trial of Courage

Journey into the void, a place so dark your light is all but extinguished. Fight a demon as nothing more than a mere mortal, and emerge victorious, as a god. Short but difficult level. Must be undertaken solo. No class abilities allowed. That means no double jump or glides, no grenades, no class melee, no shoulder charge or shadestep, no extra armor, agility, or recovery, not even a shield to protect you. Above all, there is only one checkpoint (right before the boss), and your ghost cannot resurrect you at all during this trial. In this challenge, you are not a guardian. You are just a regular person walking into a slaughterhouse. Thralls will swarm you, tearing you to pieces in seconds. Knights will take you on two at a time, each one wielding a deadly blade. Wizards and Acolytes will shoot from a distance, forcing you into cover as the others approach. Get through all that, and you get to fight the boss. [b]Boss:[/b] Legoka - Agent of the Darkness Enemy Type: Hive Knight The boss will have no accompanying adds, the fight will be one on one. It will shoot at you from medium range to start off with. In order to damage it you must first lower its shield, doing this will cause it to raise the black wall in front of it to allow its shield to recharge. You must attack it from the sides while it has the black wall raised in order to damage its health. Regardless of whether you damage its health or not, its shield will recharge after a few seconds. After you have lowered its health to half, it will switch weapons and use a sword to hunt you down, forcing you to flee. A single hit will OHKO you at this stage, so you have to stay away from it while lowering its shield. During this phase, it won't raise the black wall anymore when its shield is taken down, it will instead increase its movement speed, zeroing in on your location until its shield recharges. This time, its shield will only recharge when you stop shooting it, thus forcing you to cease your attack in order to make the knight return to normal speed. When you kill the knight, the room lights up and you are given an exclusive emblem, shader, and ship for your trouble. In addition, you also get a guaranteed exotic weapon from this encounter.
