I have PS4 and XBone with destiny, here is what I found...

This was a reply to another post but I feel like it should be posted as a topic. Now this is just from what I have seen and personal experience, others may have a complete different view and experience. I have an XBone and a PS4 and here is what I found. Destiny: PS4 gets pretty useless exotic exclusives. Now hear me out, Hawkmoon as an example is a great handcannon, but its not what it used to be after the nerf from what most players say. Since this I barely see them used. And I barely see jade rabbit at all, so either it's not great or its extremely rare. And those that I have met that do have it say they rarely use it. Even when they transfered over to Xbone (Year 1 exclusive exotics) nobody used them. The community on PS4 is primitive, most players I met (Most, not all) are really stuck up elitists, honestly. Now Xbone has its fair share of those too but its more common on PS4. The PS4 Server is Horrendous, I know bungie is mostly to blame for the server but it is not as big as an issue on the Xbone, I actually hardly see it on Xbone. Xbone players are monsters in crucible, on PS4 I hardly have a struggle against the players on there. Its usually a real challenge when playing with XBone players. Might be because of the server issue on PS4. Hatemail, I see a lot more people sending trash talk messages on PS4 then XBone AND PC combined. Now that's just for destiny, but for all the trash talk on the functions on the consoles themselves here is what I also found. Consoles: The Playstation Plus on the PS4 is cheaper than Xbox gold, but xbone players get to play most of their 360 games on Xbone free of charge. For PS4, you have to pay for a second membership which is $60 a year to play last Gen games you already paid for. Add that to the already $50 it would end up being $90. Xbone is only $60 with the free backward compatibility for game you already own so it wins there as well. Now for TV, who gives a flying -Blam!- about TV? It's a Gaming Console, treat it like one. I admit the Vanilla PS4 controller looks better and is more advanced, and it feels great in my hands, but the joysticks fall apart and split open incredibly easy, had to replace mine twice. And for the touchpad, I never seen a great use for it for anything, I even forget its there. The Vanilla Xbone Controllers are a little more bulky but are solid like a brick compared to the dualshocks. Ya ain't breaking them suckers easily. Plus the new Xbox Elite controllers will definitely be a game changer, kinda cheating if you have to get a better controller to play better but it's whatever. Now from this post you can definitely tell that I am leaning more towards Xbone, but this is from my personal Experience. The XBone servers are more entertaining and the community is more interactive and friendly compared to PS4. I also found that XBone is cheaper, more durable, and is more functionally sound than PS4. Now someone else could have an entirely different view and experience on the subject, just reporting on what I found so far. ~ Wallace

 • I can't comment on the quality of the PS4 as I don't have one, but......I have 3 Xbox One's so that my kids and I can play together and I have to disagree about the controllers. The Xbox controllers are junk. I currently have 6 that always drift forward. This is a known issue with Microsoft but they say after 6-12 months they simply can't do anything about it. I have 2 that I bought during December that are already drifting. It's rediculous. I just bought 2 of the elites from Best Buy with the 2 year warranty so I'm really hoping they are better
