What's up Guardians? My name is Seiryuu (or Apollo_Skye on PSN), and I run a Destiny YouTube channel. Wait, don't leave yet. I'm not done. I don't expect anyone to just go and subscribe to my channel, nor am I going to beg for likes, favorites, or shares. I just do YouTube for fun, about a game that I love. This post is meant to inform this community, which is the audience that my videos are directed at - The Destiny fanbase. Whether you like my videos or not is your decision. But I should at least tell you that I exist. who knows, maybe I can teach you something you didn't know (which is the goal of most of my videos). Right now I post every single day, and it's always about Destiny. Currently I'm on an upload schedule so everyday you would know before I post it, what I'll be posting. That won't always be the case, but right now I'm sort of playing catch up with a bunch of things I'd like to talk about or teach. But for now I can give you a rundown of my current 7 re-occurring series that I post, starting with Tuesday, since that's the beginning of our week. ------------------------------------------------- Tuesday- Weekly Recapitulation ------------------------------------------------- It's a music joke. Anyway this is a Weekly reset review type series where I go over strategies for the Nightfall Strike, Challenge of Elders, and any relevant events like Iron Banner. -------------------------------------- Wednesday- Raid Knight -------------------------------------- Raid Knight is a tutorial series (at least for now) that teaches what I consider to be the most efficient strategy for completing Raids. As I was a bit late to the Raid strategy teaching party, I'm currently on King's Fall. I just did Warpriest, and Golgoroth will be next week. ------------------------------------------- Thursday - Weapons Locker ------------------------------------------- This is series I'm doing that is all about Destiny Gear, and how to tell if the drop you got is worth keeping. I'm approaching it in a way of increasing your overall understanding of gear in the game instead of teaching you specific rolls, that way you can determine for yourself if your roll is good for you. I'm currently in a 3 episode arc of teaching all of the perks in the game and what they do. After that I'm going to start breaking down weapon classes and archetypes and what rolls you can get on each type of weapon. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Friday - Xur and Trials Recommendations ----------------------------------------------------------------- Exactly what it sounds like. I'll go over Xur's inventory, and throw out some general Trials tips that relate to the map for that current week. ----------------------------------- Saturday - Lore Hunter ------------------------------------ This is my lore series, in which I plan to delve into every aspect of the Lore as we currently know it. I started from the beginning talking about Ares One and the Arrival of the Traveler, and I'm currently in an arc about the Golden Age. Later I plan to explore the City Age and each enemy races lore, along with notable guardians, things like that. -------------------------------------- Sunday - Exotic Reviews -------------------------------------- This is when I pick an exotic in the game (weapon OR armor) and review it in depth. It's lore, real world inspiration, stats, archetype, perks, and overall usability. ------------------------------------------ Monday - Destiny and Chill ------------------------------------------ And yes, that Title is ironic. This is just an end of the week wind-down series where I've had an entire week of breaking down the game, and we're all just ready for a break before the next week. I usually (at this point, this could change) just do a live commentary episode, run the Daily or something, and talk about whatever happened that week as far as news, and type of channel plans I have, or whatever. And sometimes something funny will happen. It's just for fun. Seeing as I just started the channel, most of my content is probably going to land closer to beginner players, for now, but pretty soon, especially with the weapons locker series, I';ll be getting in to more advanced things. And obviously the lore and the chill episodes and weekly episodes like Trials and the reset are accessible to everyone as it's relevant the day it releases.
