The One Question Nobody's Asked
Why is this game called Destiny?
Seriously? There's no theme of fate or predestination. Both [i]Halo[/i] and [i]Marathon[/i] had some relevance as titles.
Not Destiny.

I think the original idea was that the game was all about YOUR recently ressurected guardian who was 'destined' to be ressurected by your ghost and join the fight for humanity's future and then to lead them to salvation. It does seem like the way the story got rewritten pretty much took all centrality out of the (so-called) story leaving us without an endpoint or central goal (which tends to be The defining characteristic of stories about fate and following ones Destiny).
