I first heard about Destiny (my current love interest and entire social life) through my monthly issue of GameInformer, I don't usually follow game news unless I already know the game or through friends. Regardless, intrigued by the images Of a space wizard on the cover I plowed through the issue and subsequently devoured everything I could find on Destiny. I preordered the game that same day and got my beta code, eager to play when it became available. The sense of wonder I felt as I first hit ground in the Cosmodrome- before being summarily shot by four-armed menaces- has not been replicated by any game I have ever played. (Sorry Geralt) the curiosity, bloodlust, and warlocks for which I initially played the game still follow me to this day. Through all the ups and downs I have always had faith in my...Destiny.. More importantly my faith in all the men and women that put their time and effort into a game that changed how I thought about game, all,of the people that worked on this game through all it's growing pains- and continue to do so. You guys are amazing. I am gonna be getting my Rise of Iron issue of Game Informer in the mail pretty soon. I'm excited to we what you guys have in store for us. I want to mail it to you guys, to get it signed. I wanna know if that is okay, I would very much love to have this, a little memento if you will. So when all this is over when I finally have to put down my Mida, drop my fusion, and lay down my mantle of Warlock I will have something from the people that made it all happen. Make my day Bungie.
