So I'll explain what I did, and hopefully it can help you ... Okay, for me, I have 3 characters. And it was this that made it so hard to complete this quest. In order for me to get Mountain top, I had to transfer that book you get to my Hunter (even though I started the quest as my Warlock). For the first half of the quest line o played crucible as my Warlock. Then it came to faction talking time and I had to give my book to my Hunter. And it worked (!!) Thank goodness ... my Hunter got the factions quests, and all the others too. She finished up the quest line. Oh (!) But then I transferred the book back to the Warlock to complete the 50 count. So even though I finished MT with my Hunter, it was my Warlock who finished the book anf got me to 100%. So, long story short ... if you have other characters, look at their quests. They may have the faction part ... transfer the book around and see if that helps. Good luck 😎🍀 And, Happy Game'n!

I also have this problem it's like missing for me as well.

Try putting the book in the vault and picking it up on other chars, I think your hunter is holding conquer the day which I think is part of the quest line
