I know how we could bring back elemental primaries!
All credit goes to KackisHD. I just thought this should be put out there.
Edit: I do not agree with the core idea, that would be making them even more common than in year 1!

I HATE THE CORE IDEA why? Because elemental primaries were already a freaking thing. Just give them back as end tier rewards.

I had the basic gist of this Idea LONG before Kackis Elemental cores ~Get a core as a rare drop in nightfalls or completing raids. ~Have a Reasonable chance at each weapon being able to be upgraded upon dropping, or alternatively bring it to gunsmith to upgrade it ~Have 2 out of 3 possible damage types to upgrade into for each weapon. (Damage type Choices would not randomize, they would be locked from gun to gun so as to keep variety. For example: Hung Jury could only be Arc or Void damage, leaving solar out and forcing people to use a different gun) ~Implant a core into a gun (Damage type would be unable to change after initial upgrade.)
