Cayde-6 + Eris morn
You might be wondering "what do you mean Cayde and Eris hate each other?!?"
But let me tell you my three facts about this theory.
First fact: Cayde and Eris are both hunters. Maybe they both went on missions together. Cayde might have taught her somethings and Eris might have taught him somethings.
Second fact: Cayde wore an Eris mask for festival of the lost. You might take this as Cayde teaseing Her but see this as Cayde flirting with her.
Third fact: In the mission "Cayde's stash"
You find a secret room. In that room you find a card on the ground. You scan it then Cayde starts talking about cards. He says he gave the queen of hearts to a girl he knew. Maybe that girl was Eris but before she went down the hellmouth.
Then we ask who was the girl and he gets nervous and says to go look for the stealth drive. Maybe he got nervous because he still loves Eris.

2 Replies1) Cayde wasn't known to "go on missions". Yeah, he went out, but that was for gambling, and whatever shit got in the way. And if he did go on strikes, he usually went alone, textbook hunter. And, if he was partnered with anyone, Eris would have been a dime-a-dozen. 2) Through out the TTK, Cayde pissed off Eris... a lot. Not teasing or flirting, just their characters. Cayde is carefree and sarcastic, Eris is stiff minded and only focuses on the serious threat that is the Hive. Cayde putting on her face was more to continue to piss her off... Still funny. 3) Once again, Eris would be a dime-a-dozen. He literally be talking about any girl from Venus to the Reef; from many centuries past to the present.
