I'm on the hunt for trying to get the Year 1 gear I dismantled way back when The Taken King was released since my Vault space was added, so that means I can keep my Year 1 gear with my Year 2 gear. The problem is that I only seem to get Raid specific Year 1 gear from VoG and Crota's End, as well as PoE. I can't get any non-Raid Year 1 gear anywhere, and I'm wondering if I can still obtain Year 1 gear that isn't Raid gear? The thing that I can't wrap my head around is the fact that I managed to get a 160 Light 20/20 AMR7 Sniper Rifle in the beginning of 2016 after doing Skolas, but I'm not sure if it was Skolas or the Level 32 or Level 34 PoE. I do know it was a version of PoE though. Can anyone explain this? Is it still possible to get Year 1 gear that's not from a Raid and from where? I got a Year 1 Sniper Rifle as I said a few lines above so it's definitely possible, or maybe it was just some bug. EDIT: I forgot to mention I also got a Year 1 Primary as well, and that was the Shadow Price. The wierdest thing is that I got it from a Vanguard Package right when the April Update was released. Can you get Year 1 weapons from Vanguard Packages as well? I got one but never received another Year 1 version of the updated guns again.
