Why is it that if you die after you fire your fusion rifle, it doesn't finish its shot, it cancels. You can see clearly that it always does only 49 damage, even if the full burst hits target. You can even see the trail left by the burst disappear the instant you die. Also, when people slide, even if you aim down and hit them (which if you know fusion rifles you should always aim the feet anyway) it doesn't even register ANY damage!?! I'm assuming the hit box is off when a person slides but it appears to completely vanish when you hit a slider with a fusion .

Noticed this too. Utter crap considering that NO OTHER WEAPON does this.

The reason for this (at least I'm pretty sure it's the reason) is because projectiles from a Fusion Rifle do not come out of the weapon all at once. I know it's hard to see on normal Fusion Rifles, but if you are using Telesto you can notice that the projectiles do not hit things all at once. Even with this example it's still hard to see what I was just talking about. As for stopping people who slide at you, I usually try to aim where the enemy will go as they slide and shoot at that spot, the recoil usually handles the rest.

Yeah, that's pretty annoying. Plan C ftw

I'd also like to know why this is. Fairly new with fusions but find them rather addictive and satisfying. I know the bolts have travel time (this is crazy with current pvp lag, soon as hit a large lobby might as well swap special weapons and take the ammo loss)but you change the weapon and fire all 7 blots should leave the gun surely?
