Max Light Level
Is the max light level of non raid gear (eg Vanguard Packages, Crucible Packages and Prison of Elders gear) 330?

Edited by Reaper, Lucent Blade: 7/28/2016 12:30:21 PMOutside of King's Fall Raid, you can obtain 335 weapons/gear from: CoE, exotic engrams, Nightfall exotic drops, Iron Banner, Shaxx weekly bounty, Court of Oryx (artifacts), and heroic strikes (each boss has specific loot drops tied to them [most have a weapon and piece of gear] that can drop up to 335).

Gear you get from packages will drop at 330 max, but you can still infuse it to 335 (it doesn't cap at 330 and forbid you to progress).

Van,crucible and faction yes.do challenge of elders,I'm 333 and dropped 334/335 weapons/armour.

No. You don't have to raid. I've got lots of max from the CoE and some from engrams and boss drops
