I really don't like buying and receiving stuff that are only 280.
For rise of iron, I think it'd be a [b]GREAT[/b] idea to increase the light to 310. We want our vendor-bought guns to feel special, and when we pay so much for them.
It also makes us want them more.
Increasing light for all of our "toys" is good because our light isn't so low when seeing if it will be our new go-to weapon.

It better not be a repeat from vanilla destiny to TDB because you didn't have to do anything to hit the end game.

You buy vendor weapons for their rolls, not their light level. They could be 3 light for all I care, infusion fuel is not hard to come by.

They're not just gonna give us everything so quick and easily right from the start... the grind is the reason we keep playing. You can easily level up playing challenge of the elders. Probably the best way to level up since the game released. They'll never sell items at to levels. Accept it.
