a lot of people (myself included) have noticed an influx of striker titans and agree a retweeking/nerf needs to happen, but would anyone object to shoulder charge costing a melee ability?? it would make a striker have to be a bit more savvy with their melee and not spam shoulder charge as much and also give people more of a reason to use twilight garrison in their loadout.

Edited by Relyks: 7/29/2016 10:12:25 AMI think I okay with how it is now. It's just free kills with my fusion rifle. Titans that are not stopping to shoot me and making a beeline for me? Easy kill.

Edited by DarkLordBacon: 7/28/2016 3:10:36 AMGive it a 3 or 4 second cooldown and it's fine. Makes shoulder charge riskier and allows for a short opportunity for the enemy to attack without worrying about a second shoulder charge. You guys should just leave it alone in my opinion. But if you really want a nerf then I would say this is a good option.

I've just finished a game tonight where a Titan was running around constantly shoulder charging. My first thought was how is he able to do that so often.
-
It shouldn't be a melee. It should have a cool down and definitely should not be a one hit kill. Nerf throwing knives because it was a one hit kill on lower armor guardians (and even then only with the burn perk active) but leave SC alone when it OHK's everything... more stupidity at its finest.
-
I just hate how you can jump over a titan, clearly see him miss but it still kills you ;__;
-
To be honest they just need to reduce the range and duration of shoulder charge...and mark 44. stand asides have as much duration as we have now.
-
Titans have a free evade/1hk melee, that does not cost a melee charge or anything else to use. Therefore, titans have NO right to complain about warlock melee. In fact, neither do hunters. -blam!- hunter mains.
-
This idiot has a .34 on his Titan, don't listen to him
-
What does using shoulder charge have to do with twilight garrison?
-
All your points are kinda dumb. Btw your poll disagrees with you.
-
If Shoulder Charge is soooooo good, then why are you so terrible as a Titan? Maybe you should spend a little more time actually playing the class and not sucking at it before you go whining for nerfs.
-
If a hunter missing a thorough knife takes the charge away why does shoulder charge not count as a mele charge?
-
Edited by Master Chief: 7/26/2016 2:45:51 AMPlease put it into the melee tree. That would be amazing. Shoulder charge and Juggernaut.
-
People keep saying Titans are a tank class supposed to be slow. Since when have tanks moved slow M1 Abram goes like 45 plus also think of shoulder charge as getting ran over by a tank.
-
So your logic is more people using a class means it needs to be nerfed? Dude get out lol. There's nothing wrong with shoulder charge, it's easy to use, easy to counter. It is, dare I say, balanced.
-
If it is so good, then why does everyone suck at using it?
-
That's like saying 'should Shade step count as a melee' it's a perk in the skill tree and it should stay that way!
-
Ive been shoulder charging alot lately but i always find the one or two smart people i cant get ... there are counters out there
-
Fusions No one is using it the counter, therefor all these posts come up. I mean come on, fusions are for anticipating the enemy's movement and killing them before theyre close. Strikers run in a straight line at you and are most effective in your face. Stop trading kills with a shotgun and play smart
-
Yes
Or no, I really don't care.
-
It uses a perk on the subclass tree

Edited by P0gue__Mah0ne: 7/29/2016 2:19:11 AMSure there's no charge spent, but it's not an instant thing. I've finally started using my Titan a lot more recently (because hey...it's actually fun!) and there's quite a bit of planning and triangulation that goes into lining it up. I go barging into a room, everybody shrugs and shoots me in the face more often than I make it look badass.
-
No it shouldn't take up a melee charge but they should have to sprint way longer for it to activate. The way it currently is, you can see someone and insta kill them a second later. It's more powerful than a shotgun and should be forced to be more dedicated. Once you start sprinting you're kinda locked into it. Should be more of a fight or flight thing.
-
It's been in the game since 2014. Wtf get over it already
-
It should be considered bullshit 😃

My only problem with shoulder charge is when I get killed by someone who uses it in the air. Happened a few times but not to the point of getting all fussy about it. I have noticed more shoulder charges in IB though.
