What is the queen doing?
So, being as bungie made a statement that the queen is still out there, what I was wondering is what she's doing, after Oryx being defeated by the guardians, she has no reason that I can see to remain in hiding, especially after the prison of elders was reopened to the guardians, and the taken in there, surely she should be there for her people. My theory is that she is with the remaining loyal fallen after her defeat by Oryx, and these fallen found her injured and tried to find a way to help her, and in the process of looting the cosmodrome for human medicines, they uncovered the splicers, which then corrupted these fallen and the queen. Worshipping machines they could have thanked the queen by trying to make her a god, and upon the release of rise of iron they complete this process and come out of hiding, and begin their revenge on the guardians for what they lost before. This could mean that the queen is no longer with the light, and may be the boss for the new raid. I may be completely wrong, but I'm sure we're going to see more about what happened with her next release. What do you guys think, and what are your theories?

I don't think you want to know what I think she is doing and I doubt I will be allowed to say what I think she is doing. However, it is not what you probably think that I am thinking.

I believe either oryx teleported her to another planet or galaxy. Oryx might be dead but she knows the war ain't over yet. Also when u found out that oryx wanted you to slay her to release to from her when that was corrupting her. Plus oryx now resides in the touch of malice using her power to help you

She never really played a part outside of forcing a "motivation" in cutsceens, so she's dead to me. Hope it stays that way or else I'll have to get rid of another queen.

1 ReplyWhat she's up to is unknown. The Techeun leader had a plan which overcame death and spanned universes. It's presumable the Queen was involved. It's probably linked to what was planned between Mara, Eris, and Osiris, and possibly the Nine. One Harbinger was held back from the attack. It passes into — another place. Later, it returns.[/quote] This could explain the hum of starlight that her brother felt when he was trying to feel if she was still alive. We see something similar on the pockets of Darkness on Phobos. No, I don't believe she was Taken. The Queen has more power than people realise. She was alive pre-collapse, or at least shortly after. She was certainly alive and the Queen when the Awoken left for Earth.

4 RepliesIn my theory... She's stuck, on earth. No vehicle craft, and no communications with anyone accept the awoken survivors. They found shelter and only wait for someone to find them. Yes, they send search parties looking for anyone. Anyone remember the e3 trailer for the game? and the gameplay which had the small trailer at the end? Well in that trailer, it showed the Queen's brother, saying to a wondering warlock while aiming a hand canon at the warlock: "Why is the city breathing down my neck?" The warlock replying: "Why don't you put that thing down so we can talk?" Then the prince responding: "Out here in the wild, this is, how we talk." That part most likely was a scratched idea from destiny considering the fact that it was never in the game. well this cutscene happened outside near a shelter, far away from the city... and we found the survivors. That's just my theory.

2 RepliesThe Fallen were not loyal to the Queen, they were forced to work for her because she killed their Kell Varixas and they were frightened of her power. Scared into submission. So when Skolas freed them why do you think they escaped in such a violent manner?

I understand that she is quite powerful, but if you noticed, she used up all her power attempting to destroy the Dreadnaught; making her vulnerable to Oryx's corruption. I know it's a long shot, but it would make sense if it were to happen.
