Why hunters have that one piece of armor that never matches
When your out there, too far for the city to reach, everywhere is dangerous.
All hunters have to learn this.
Every hunter has a story to tell about someone they lost to the dark beyond. The guardian they couldn't revive, the body they had to leave behind.
Out there, you can only trust yourself and your fireteam. No help comes. You learn or you die.
Every hunter knows that they could be leaving the tower for the last time. They have a friend or mentor who has done just that. Every hunter comes home alone at least once.
But still life must go on. The darkness must be pushed back. So they do the only thing they can.
Somewhere on a hunters armor there is always a mark. Left untouched by shaders as a memory. A memory of those in the howling dark who will never see the light.
And that is why hunters have that one piece of armor.

I always hunt alone fireteams are nothing but a anchor to me I prefer speeding through missions and pvp i enjoy not having to compete with my fireteam

1 ReplyI just want the IB PS exclusive cloak but it has yet to drop for me..it probably won't. I wish there were better cloaks and that they changed with the shader you wore likw it used to..

Edited by Sundown: 7/24/2016 7:20:10 PMAlso because a Hunter will scavenge what they can and use the parts they deem useful, it's not about "looks" (as some Titans will try and put together full sets of old armour) more about survival.It talks a little bit about it in the Field guide from the vanilla collectors edition.

7 RepliesI'd die inside playing as a Hunter. The only look I can abide by is Taniks cloak plus full POE gear, with possibly an exotic helm.
