PVP Balance Ideas

I'm sorry for any annoyance my post may cause you, I respect your opinion, and this is mine. MIDA, Last Word, Hawksaw, and Grasp are well balanced, so other primaries need a buff to their respective levels to rival the current favorites. Slow rate of fire Auto Rifles need a slightly faster time to kill. This also goes for slow rate of fire Pulse Rifles, and most Handcannons in general. Handcannons need more range because smaller clips are enough to differentiate them from Scout Rifles. Auto Rifles have a perfect range, but a small few could use a baby boost to range. Fusion Rifles need more consistency with how well they perform in accordance to their stats because two with almost the same stats can behave very differently. Shotguns are in a great place at the moment, but there could be more variety of PVP obvious choices. Universal Remote is very frustrating, but I find it to be balanced as well. Sidearms could use more archetypes, and similar to Fusion Rifles they can also behave inconsistent to their stats shown. Snipers are in a good balance at the moment. Rockets could stand to get more aggressive tracking since proximity is such a dominant choice. I miss the loads of LMG ammo, but they are balanced currently. Super Good Advice needs a bump to it's power to measure up to Thunderlord's prowess. Swords may not seem like a PVP thing, but I've seen people rock them well, so they are as balanced as they can be. Heavy ammo twice a round should come back to Crucible. Thank you for reading!

    Lol, why is it I have never had a problem with snipers? Ohhhh, because I learn to find a way around things! 70 percent of my special kills are shotgun by the way. I learned to stop challenging snipers at mid to long range! I move around more to make it a pain in the but to pick me off. I usually like to find a way to use cover jump around, and get as close as I can to that sniper, then I pull out my primary and start moving from side to side, 70 percent of the time I kill him, but sometimes he picks me off, if hat happens, good shot sir! Lol. I'm no godly player, my stats are ok, and I never have a problem with anything! Never had a problem with thorn, pocket infinity, mida, red death and nirwins back when y2 started, shotguns in y1, snipers, anything!! You know why? Because I learned how to play around them!! I mean once snipers get a nerf, you'll be crying about something else!! So just stop please! Primarys can use buff though. But no nerf to snipers. Sick of nerfs.

    • Thanks to everyone for sharing here, I got a lot of good replies, and feedback to this post. I'm not sure if Bungie saw this post or not, but I was surprised that most of what I said was cool with you all. Of course, snipers, hight RoF Pulse, and shotguns are the hot topics at the moment, but you were all chill about it! Looks like this post is dying down, but once again THANK YOU!     • Disagree. 1. Universal remote needs a range nerf. It is a relic from Year One, and needs to be brought back into balance with other shotguns. 2. Slower RoF ARs need a slight damage buff. Only slight. because high stability ones are still competitive. 3. Hand cannons need their handling back. They are UP right now compared to ARs. 4. Snipers are OOB right now. The only real threat to a good sniper...is another good sniper right now.. The over all primary weapon TTK needs to be faster. Otherwise allthe sniping and titan-skating-shotty and shadestep shotty will never stop. 5. SGA will never be a good weapon because its perks are too dangerous. The moment you make it handle like 90% of the game's legendary LMGs....you've got a game-breaking God Gun. In both PVP and PVE. Agree: Heavy ammo needs to be dropped twice per game again. In many games, only having it drop once basically just removes it from the game. You're either respawning and cant' get it....or both sides push the drop...and no one is able to survive long enough to actually use it. Rockets need their proximity det buffed a bit. As usual, Bungie nerfed it into the ground, rather than tweaking it. No need to go back to crossmap kills where you barely have to aim...but then no one should be surviving a rocket that passes so close that they got burned from the exhaust as it went by.

        • I agree with most of what you said, except for sniper rifles. I think they need some kind of adjustment, snipers shouldn't be able to consistently dome people while they themselves are getting shot in the head by primary weapons.

            • Imo grasp isnt balanced. It literally will out gun every pulse rifle, because the 2 burst ones fire 2 slow and the other 3 burst pulse rifles kill just slower
