Poll should all Exotic Primaries have elements?(Thorn excluded it has poison already)

Actually, some year one exotics were originally going to have primary burns. The Last Word was going to be solar, Bad Juju was going to be void, and Suros Regime (called Arcus Regime at the time) was going to be arc.

2 RepliesThere was no real need in year 1, we ran the raids to get weapons with those perks. In turn it made running the nightfall easier. Maybe too easy. But since Bungie removed those types of weapons from the game and has added burns to level 41 strikes which makes them nightfall difficulty without the reward then I would have to answer yes. Strikes without the burn, no we don't need it. Maybe have the gunsmith sell a consumable you can put on your weapon to give it a burn for a period of time. That maybe another idea rather than a permanent element on your weapon.

This is just a thought so please don't stone me... There seems to be a lot of consumables out there, perhaps the could be some to add an elemental effect temporarily to your primary?

They originally did, from those found in the beta/alpha, I believe. If not all, most.

Whatever happens, for the love of all that is legendary, don't mess with Zhalo.. It's a sci-fi ak47 that shoots electric bullets n makes groups of enemy's explode.. It's jus way too much fun. With Shadow Shot, it's hilarious 😁

Yes. I feel like they were all supposed to. All the ones with the green mist(thorn, bad juju, ToM) were poison damage. Hardlight as another example looks like it should be arc. Even the bubble on the Omolon primaries legendaries have color to em.

well you cant really exclude thorn because envenomed on the smoke is considered void therefore thron would do void damage.

I think they should just do the consumable from xur thing I came up with it before a video camera out on YouTube with that idea...

The exotics MUST be the pinnacle of the grinders. And legendaries little hard to find. ToC is way a drug. Now nobody can play without. And exotics MUST have elementary damage. That's the lesser for them. They're the top of their archetype, so it's logical if they have all the things legendaries, rare and common can't.

I voted no because I don't want to have to use my exotic slot for a primary weapon just to have a burn on all 3. They just need to make an elemental core that we can add into any kinetic-damage weapon to give them burn. Not that I would object to exotic primaries having burn, but I would also want Legendary primaries to have burns as well.

3 Repliestrue story..... met a guy who claims his Suros Regime had Void element... after me and my friend made fun of him for it, he went back and checked to find it had no element, sucked it up and admitted he was wrong, but still swears he saw his Suros Regime with the Void icon..... that was a while ago..... now recently while hovering over my Hunter helmet Graviton Forfeit, i swear on my non-existent dog's head the perk window showed "Grants Quiver", i made a weird face at the screen, moved my cursor off the helmet and back on and then it properly read "Grants Shadestep".... this is no joke and i know what i saw... we all know pre-TTK Bungie originally had that helmet programmed with Quiver, and for me (knowing im not crazy) to see it come up and change back to Shadestep, looking back at the guy i met i realize maybe he was dead serious, maybe the same thing happened with his Suros, and IF he was right about it then Suros may have originally been programmed with Void damage, heck every exotic primary may have had an element before the game launched....... just a theory based on my experience with that helmet in combination with the random guy's claim of his Suros months earlier
