Someone please explain planned parenthood
I don't get it, what is it and why are people so against/for it???

You and your partner regularly have intercourse with protection. You buy a house together. You respect and love one another. You both become financially secure so as you can successfully clothe feed and raise your child in a loving safe environment . You stop using contraception and try for a child.

Planned parenthood provides Parent and funding planning Std education Abortions Std tests Contraceptives Std prevention programs Its basically a public health program to curb the spread of diseases and educate the popultion to slow the growth rate But for some reason multiple church groups attack the whole thing as a affront to god because it interferes with his plan. Then you know somewhere down the road they tied conservatives with christians and there you go. They use abortion since its the easiest to attack Fyi its only used to get votes. Bush could have repealed but he didnt. That argument is only used to get sheep votes

9 RepliesBecause abortion and being anti-health care is popular with a very, very, very select sliver of people that tend to vote Republican. Most Americans, even Republican leaning voters, are fine with Planned Parenthood. One bit of a credit I will give Trump is that he was perceptive enough to understand that even the Republican base, let alone the general American voter, are fine with abortions being available and gay people marrying. That's just one (of many) reasons he embarrassed the so called finest (lol) that the Republican Party could muster.

They also provide sexual health education, they provide contraceptives, they provide screening for cancer like mammograms and testicular exams, and a number of other services that keep people healthy. But they do abortions, so they're literally hitler.

Pro-lifers got all up in a tizzy when edited videos were released falsely purporting to show PP execs selling fetal tissue for profit. People started calling for the defunding of Planned Parenthood by the federal government despite the fact that the federal funds it recieves are not used for abortion (that would be illegal), which was the issue at the heart of the anti-Planned Parenthood movement.

They perform abortions and sell off the remains in parts to whoever wants them and claim they do other things on the side to justify it. So people that don't like abortion are appalled by them, and other people don't really care about what they do.
