How Old Were You When You First Experienced Halo?
I was about 11 or 12 at a friends house. I didn't have an xbox yet so I was really excited every time I went over because I knew we'd play Halo!. The good memories are still there though. You?

27. Having lived through Atari, Intellivision, and the various Nintendos, I had seen some gaming. Got the Xbox because my wife was working for Microsoft at the time...expected nothing, and received the world. It was nothing short of a revolution in every sense. Xbox simply decimated everything before it, and Halo was like a blueprint for the perfect game. Was pretty much done with gaming at that point, but CE changed all of that.

I was 16 when it came out. Before Halo CE came out, my friends would have Goldeneye 007 N64 parties every weekend. As soon as Halo came out, that is what we jumped to. My friend introduced me to Halo. He pwned me in a 1 vs 1 CTF game on Blood Gulch. I didn't know which base was mine. Good times.

I was 12 when the game was released in 2001. But I think I played it for the first time on the first XBOX when I was 13. I remember linking several Televisions and XBOX's and having massive 16 player round robin tournaments. It was crazy fun. I would get my but kicked so bad. The only prior experience I had had with gaming was with my Nintendo 64. I loved my Mario Kart. Halo Combat Evolved was a totally new video game experience for me. But I loved it. Now I play the PC version all the time. It definitely left a lasting impression on me.

went to my buddies house walked in the door and saw his dad wreckin on some elites with a needler and i just stared.... awestruck... then me and my buddy raped on easy lol (ahh to be a nub agn) :P

I was about 14 when it released but I only played it at a friends house about a year later. I would have been either 15 or 16 possibly.

I was 11. I walked into my cousins room and saw him playing it. He had so much trouble getting past the very first part of the first level. (when you pick up an AR) I took over and pwned them Elites! First time I played Halo. :') (it was on easy mode at the time lol)

13 or 14 I think? Was at friends house after school, he asked if I ever heard of a thing called "Halo" I said no. We played H2 multiplayer (no live) The game that really got me into FPS's and got me an xbox and xbox live ^^

My friend recruited me to get through The Library. First level I ever played. I was in sixth grade, so 12.

Like 8, The shotgun and the grunts freaked me out, I was always freaked out from first person shooters for some odd reason.
