I had surgery yesterday
It was a septoplasty bilateral turbinate reduction, which is basically cutting out cartilage that was grown incorrectly. However, apparently the bone was grown incorrectly, so they chopped some out of that too.
The gauze you see under my nose is to catch any blood drainage.
