1) Eris selling Crota's End gear and weapons.
2) A new vendor selling Vault of Glass gear and weapons.
3) Variks selling House of Wolves gear and weapons.
{All 3 at year 3 minimum light level so can be used with effectiveness in year 3}
4) Armorsmith, same principle as Banshee just you take damage from certain enemies or falling to near death (just random objectives) to level it up and get packages.
5) Allegiance to Eris, Variks, and "new vender" from 1-3 to gain those specific items.
6) Gun customization, start with a basic white weapon, level it up, by killing enemies, to green, blue, purple, getting 10-15 points to level up your gun. Obviously needing more experience as you go. Start with a basic stats (selecting high fire rate or impact, etc.) selecting an impact upgrade or range (examples) as it goes from white to green then reload or stability (examples) as it goes to green to blue, then fire rate or magazine size (example) as it go from blue to purple, as you choose your enhancement it will provide those random perk to help balance out the gun. At this time you can name your weapon and give it a description.
So example:
--White.
FR=80
IM=7
RNG=30
STA=60
RL=10
Mag=30
--Green.
FR=80
IM=7
RNG=40
STA=60
RL=10
Mag=30
--Blue
FR=80
IM=7
RNG=40
STA=70
RL=10
Mag=30
--Purple.
FR=80
IM=7
RNG=40
STA=70
RL=20
Mag=30

The Armorsmith is a good idea... See you can get weapon parts in an instant but Armor materials takes a bit of grinding.
